The Funky Modern Space

This apartment is very clean, modern and cozy at the same time. It's the perfect place to come back to after an exhausting day of discovering the city. Cam was always willing to help and to share his insider-knowledge about the city, generous and very friendly .He did everything to make sure we have a nice stay in Vancouver. It was great!

Wow, what a fantastic few days! Cam is a true gent - great orientation/introduction to the property and area, lots of fantastic recommendations for places to eat, hang out (and snowboard ;) and generally on hand to field any queries. The apartment rocked. Clean, cool, comfy place in an awesome part of town. Some lovely and unexpected treats in the fridge to welcome us (and no hotel minibar prices, which is nice!). First experience of Airbnb and 100% positive. You have a new advocate!

Cam was a gracious, helpful attentive host. He takes the responsibility of his guests very seriously and wanted to ensure my time in the 'Funky Modern Space' was comfortable and included everything I would need -which it did. The unit appears per photos provided. The second bedroom (off the main) could be a awesome 'fort' for kids - it's a true loft space, roomy, slanted ceilings with a window and double bed so lots of room to sleep 4 people. It's a cozy spot, on a quiet street -a 2 minute walk to the most amazing local coffee shop (try the "London Fog"). I would definitely recommend this spot for vacationers and yes, even cool people in Van on business!! Thanks Cam! Toby (Toronto, Canada)

The appartment is great : clean, perfectly situated in the Kitsilano District, 30 min walking from downtown, 5 min walking from the famous Kitsilano beach, balcony on the last floor where you may have breakfast watching Vancouver, the sea and the mountains. But going at Cam's place is more then a rental : him and Kelly welcome you as foreign friends and advise you about what to do, see and enjoy in this peaceful and beautiful city. Actually those guys don't rent to make money, they rent to meet people.

Great place to stay in a perfect location--very close to the beach, restaurants, shops. While in Kitsilano, we walked everywhere. Cam was very helpful with fantastic recommendations for food, and enjoying the area, in general. Would recommend it to anyone, and in fact, I have!

Cam was a great host! We were there during the 2012 Olympics and he was very helpful in giving us ideas on where to eat and where to go. The apartment was great as well. It was very clean and in a convenient location. Overall I couldn't ask for anything more!

The appartment is very nice, the location is perfect (it's a two minutes walk to the beach or to public transportations to downtown Vancouver) and Cam is very helpful. I heartily recommend the place !!

It was a treat to stay here. It is a very clean space, a large balcony area, and on a quiet street. The location can't be beat... blocks away from the beach, Kite-flying parks, great brunch places, any number of pubs and restaurants, and shopping on West 4th is eclectic and interesting. It is definitely a great way to get to know the neighborhood and is convenient for public transportation to downtown Vancouver.

We were very happy with the location, perfect. Close to the park and anything else we needed. Cam was very helpful and we would recommend it to anyone, clean and quiet!!

It is indeed a beach paradise, very close to the water as well as bustling 4th Ave. Fantastic location. Cam and Caylee made the entire process very easy. We would recommend to anyone!

Couldn't meet a better guy!! Cam is no doubt one of the most adventurous and outgoing people I have ever met. He will make you feel right at home and would be the first person to be along for the ride if and when invited. He's inspiring in his daily life and loves being in the outdoors - whether on the water, at the beach or up on the mountain. A truly all around fantastic human being!

Cam is the nicest guy you could ever meet. He's very kind and considerate. His place is fantastic and the neighbourhood is really a little heaven, and still so close to downtown.

Cam is an energetic and easy-going guy who is fun to travel with. He's interested, honest, and resourceful.
