  • Tastefully rennovated apartment in ancient building. Comfortable sleeping experience. Well equipped kitchen. Very quiet--especially considering proximity to BQE (highway). Terrific neighborhood for hipsters /artists/ young families

  • The House on Henry was everything the pictures indicated. Cute decorations, comfortable amenities - my mother and I felt right at home for our 5 night stay. We never got to meet Annette, but she was very helpful by phone for any questions that we had. I know she would have been available if we had any problems. I live in the area, and my mom and I would definitely consider House on Henry for her next visit.

  • Very nice place, very clean, and set up as a BNB so no clutter whatsoever. I'd say perfect for a couple and thier kid(s). A little far from the subway, but Carroll Gardens is a great Brooklyn hood, especially in the warmer seasons. The BQE overpass is a half-block away, so not as quiet as Carroll Gardens should be, especially once the windows are opened, so that I guess is the main drawback. A+ in all the categories, aside from location, which I'd say is a B-; but quite frankly I think the location issue fairly handled by the correct price.

  • As part of our wedding week in Brooklyn, we decided to rent an apartment nearby. We found Annette's apartment to be very cute and well decorated. Perfectly comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. The apartment was immaculate upon arrival. Would recommend! Annette is very responsive to help whilst you stay in her place Thanks to Annette!

  • Great & beautiful space, love the location, everything was perfect.

  • Great apartment, great neighborhood. Friendly and helpful host. We actually stayed in the 2nd floor unit in this building that Annette thoughtfully moved us to because she said it was more child-friendly (we travel with a 1 and 3 year old). We did a lot of cooking in the kitchen. The second bedroom was a little cold on the colder nights, but the apartment was well stocked with blankets to keep us warm. Washer and dryer in the apartment was a huge plus. We would definitely book here again.

  • Such a gorgeous, well-appointed space, and supremely accommodating check-in/-out process. Just great.

  • The House on Henry was just as the pictures showed. Very clean and comfortable. Annette was very kind to accomodate our late arrival. The only thing that could have made it better was if it was just a little closer to the subway. I would definitely recomend this apartment.

  • This apartment was comfortable and convenient--especially if you already know the area a little bit. The subway is only 4 short blocks away and two of Brooklyn's best restaurants, Frankies and Prime Meats, are around the corner as well. Annette told us she was around the corner if we needed anything, but we didn't--everything was nicely appointed and in place. Since I was travelling with my small daughter, I moved some of the decorations around to avoid breaking them, but the design, etc, of the place was really charming. Thanks Annette!

  • We had a great time at House on Henry. Annette is a great host. She met us at the apartment and showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment and gave us some great recommendations for places to eat. The apartment is in wonderful Carroll Gardens - and very close to great places to eat like Buttermilk Channel and Seersucker. It's not too far to walk to the subway either - and the F line takes you to nearly every place you need to go! It's a very pleasant walk up to Park Slope and into Prospect Park. The apartment itself is very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. I highly recommend this apartment. We will be sure to look up Annette again when we next come to NYC to see if she has a vacancy.
