Adorable Furnished Studio Apartment

Great place, great host(s), great location. Sarah provided everything we needed to be comfortable & content, esp. generous-tasty-healthy breakfast & snack foods. The studio was very easy to find, and in a lovely walkable neighborhood. We hope to return!

Saralee's apartment was quiet, peaceful, and, yes, adorable! There was amazing homemade granola, lovely bagels, and thoughtful touches everywhere- great selection of books, games and videos, comfortable bed linens and pillows, and a sense of peace throughout. This is the place I will hope to return to on every visit to Bellingham.

Truly as described -- "adorable", and Saralee was a warm, welcoming, professional host who matter-of-factly pointed out where we'd find the homemade bagels she'd just baked from scratch , the homemade granola, organic milk, orange juice and fruit. Saralee and Jerry have a super-clean, snug and comfy nest, and they made us feel very welcome. They provided plenty of supplies including gorgeous home-made granola and bread. I appreciated the quiet nights and proximity to Fairhaven and downtown Bellingham. No worries with this one!

This studio was wonderful in every way! Fresh apple pie and bread were ready on hand and the hosts were incredibly nice and cool. A wonderful place to stay. I will definitely come back often.

Sara and Jerry made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Based on the description of the place and location, it is exactly what we expected which was fantastic. We loved the closeness to Fairhaven and for our first time in the area we noticed the friendliness of the entire community. One of the other reasons we chose their apartment was their commitment to organic products and healthy food. The best treat was a piece of Sara's fresh apple pie. Saralee and Jerry were gracious hosts. We arrived fairly late on Thursday night, but were greeted with smiles and a short tour of the apartment. During our stay, we were treated to freshly made cinnamon bread and home-made bagels - both very well made. This, in addition to the coffee and tea made it a cozy place to stay when the weather was particularly nasty. The location was also truly exceptional - we took the train in, so we had no vehicle - but we were within walking distance of all kinds of good food (Mambo Italiano was a highlight) and a bus that went straight downtown. All in all, a great experience. Cozy, friendly, and accomodating. Thank you Saralee and Jerry!

We extended our stay when our travel plans changed. We highly recommend Saralee and Jerry's studio apartment and will definitely stay there again next time we're in Bellingham.

Saralee and Jerry are fabulous hosts. I was lucky enough to stay in their beautiful home from February 12, 2010 - February 19, 2010. The house is warm and inviting and because of this, it instantly felt like home. The attention to detail and the care provided was refreshing. I enjoyed every minute of my vacation, as I had no worries regarding my accommodations. The animals are friendly and the location is conveniently located near many shops and main streets. I had a wonderful time sharing recipes with Saralee and cooking together in her lovely kitchen. These two offer great advice on local spots to visit and casual conversations you do not want to end. For these things and so many more, staying with Saralee and Jerry is the best deal in town. You will not find this level of hospitality just anywhere. Thank you both for having me in your home, I look forward the opportunity to stay with you in the future.
