  If you are looking for that unique "l.a way of life" experience,quiet and relaxing yet packed with action around the corner,you just found the place.What i mean is that you have the choice to spend your time in the best possible "zen environment" the city of angels has to offer;Henry and Robert will provide that with a little help from Mother Nature,or simply take a five minute walk or a minute ride in your favourite wheeled vehicle ,and you are in the heart of Hollywood ;dinning,clubbing,shopping,people watching... The place's just amazing. I will definitely recommend it to everyone i know.

  No need is left unmet. Style, function and hospitality reign at this peaceful hideaway in the Hollywood Hills. I needed both an escape and a place to recover from hard days work, and my stay at Juanes House gave me just that. I was met with candles lit and white wine on ice. When I worried about the coyotes a larger fence was immediately installed. Henry even dropped by to play with my dog when I couldn't make it home in time from work. All done with a gracious smile. Great restaurants are a short walk away and all other considerations are anticipated in a small brochure. I cannot recommend this place more highly.

  so..after 55 years of searching for the best airBnB had to offer in LA, I can now stop. Rest assured, if you book a private residence at Robert and Henry's you will have found a home away from home. During my stay, I could count on Henry to walk my little guy Holden, drop off my bag that I left behind, or just for brilliant chit chat near the pool side. The property seems to attract creative guru's that are in LA for work, but need a place to hide away. If you think the photographs of the property and rooms are too good to be true, they are not! And best of all, this residence is dog friendly. Thanks again Henry! I will be seeing you soon! Tegan +__+

  as soon as we arrived, my husband was instantly happy and relaxed. usually he is very grumpy after traveling for so long. and my little dog had a great big smile when he saw we had our own personal patio on the hillside. the room had everything we needed to be cozy and comfortable during our 5-night stay. henry the host was very nice and offered anything we wanted but left us in peace to enjoy our retreat. we have already recommended this spot to our friends, and we will return for another relaxing stay.

  There are many places in this world that strive to maintain perfection, but Bamboo does it with such ease and grace I almost feel sorry for it's neighbouring competitors. The zen space maintains such a free spirit in idyllic surroundings with a beautiful pool to warm the soul after a very active day. The rooms define the word luxury and the local food parallels this. If you do stay, you must take your time to visit the Beechwood cafe. The Hollywood sign is minutes away as is the walk to the Kodak theatre, it is unbelievable how close the place is to the heart of LA, yet so peaceful. I stayed at Bamboo for a little under a month and I cannot begin to tell you how magical the place is. Henry and Robert have gone out of there way to accommodate my every request. Simply put, there is nothing they didn't do... the dedication and attention to every minor detail constantly from day to day has been performed with such vigour and precision. They have realised a gem in the heart of the Hollywood Hills that is not seen anywhere else in Los Angeles. Overall, I am there biggest fan and certain that it will remain my favourite destination.. It brings out the child in me, feeds the soul and has come to be my home from home! You simply have to see for yourself!

The hospitality was six star! We plan on staying with Henry + Robert every time we go to Los Angeles from here on out. If you are a traveler who only knows and wants best, then here is your place.   Henry was an absolute amazing host. He went way out of his way to ensure I had a superb stay. He was very informative and knowledgeable of the surrounding area’(s): coffee, drinks, food, massages, hikes, runs, etc... He exemplifies a relaxed attitude that allows you to tap into your inner Zen and truly immerse yourself into the gorgeous surroundings of the Hollywood Hills. I am a huge advocate for this property. I could not more highly recommend.

  Henry and Robert are excellent hosts, very helpful and always just a text away! The property itself is gorgeous and unique with breath taking views into the hills. If you are looking for the "Hollywood Hills" style of escape, this is your place. Also very calming with the koi pond behind the bedroom. I will be back for sure! I miss it already! Thanks!! :)

  The place was amazing and Henry + Robert were incredbly welcoming, helpful and friendly - there is not one thing that we can complain about with the whole experience! Great apartment, super nice location (quiet, relaxing yet super central and close to lovely hikes and walks in Griffith Park). We'd highly recommend this to anyone going to LA for work or holiday - suits both! A great stay!

  We had the most amazing time at this place in the Hollywood Hills. Henry, greeted us upon our arrival and instantly he took us under his wing. He gave us an overview of the property and then even offered us an upgrade from the NY Studio Loft, which looks incredible, by the way, to the Zen 1bdrm. The Zen home is an amazing experience. The design of the space is well thought out and allows for a lot of natural light. The two interior garage doors opened to a koi pond and bamboo tree yard. The free standing shower and bath were great ways to unwind and such a plus as well. There's even a secret door to the bedroom. Every morning was a breath of fresh air and a great way to enjoy our stay in LA. The location was perfect and close to the freeway but without the noise and bustle. I recommend this place whole heartedly and the hosts were easy to work with, kind, always available for questions, and take such pride in their property. It's also a dog friendly place which was a huge factor in planning our trip. Knowing this was a huge help and I am super appreciative that they could accommodate us. Thank you for an amazing LA experience...what a gem!

  amazing place to stay with great views and walks near by.... good access to hollywood and los felix and also to silverlake via the freeway - it was a little smaller than i expected but still plenty of room for a couple henry and robert were extremely professional highly recommended !!

  Sweet place in an amazing location. The house was cute, clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable and the shared pool area was amazing. We were only there for a couple of nights but Henry was a great host throughout, always on hand and happy to help in any way he could. If you're looking for a cool little crash pad in LA, this has to be one of the best.

  Bamboo was great. Brilliant location in the hills is relaxing yet close to all the action of hollywood. The place was smart and had everything we needed. Henry and Robert were great. Meet you on arrival and make sure you are happy. They then eave you to yourself but are always a call away if you need anything . Would defiantly recommend and would stay again when back in LA.

  Hi everyone, I had a great stay in this loft.The fireplace behind the bed is really cozy and the big door that completely opens up to a great view is very original, so is the bamboo garden and the Koi pond which add a real feeling of peace and good vibes to the place.I also liked the fact that I was able to hook up my turntable and that the speakers are build in the ceiling.It is a very quite and inspiring place and Henry has been very sweet and help full...
