Fun Vibrant Manhattan Shared Loft!

I cannot convey enough how great of a stay I had over the weekend. Perry was very accommodating and every review you read is all true!! He definitely made me feel at home and really went out of the way to make my stay great. I flew in early and had to check my bag in earlier than the check in time which he had no problem accommodating. I flew in for a cycling event and needed a place to store my bike and Perry went out of his way to store my bike. . .seriously, it made my life so much easier! The place is clean (as shown in the photos) and a very convenient location (literally a minute from the Subway). I'd definitely come back next time!

Great time + opportunity to explore NY right from your stay. Thanks for informations and help to get along in this huge city. Night was very quiet. At the end - if I come back I want to stay there again.

Perry is a great host, though he seems to prefer talkative and boisterous guests, rather than reserved and reticent ones like myself. However, he has a fantastic shared loft, he is friendly and generous, and he pays for FAST internet access :) Thanks, Perry!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Staying at the loft I got to meet so many amazing people and I had such a great time hanging out with them and exploring NYC. I felt at home right away and really enjoyed the peaceful and chill environment at Perry's place.

My stay in Perrys Apartement in New York was great. The apartment is small but very nice arranged for the purpose. Everything was well prepared and clean. Perry is a great and very helpful host and I got some really great tips, what to visit in NY from him. It was nice to meet people from all over the world in his place. And I could not imagine a better located place in NY to discover New York.

Perry was a great host. Made me feel welcomed. The apartment is large enough to accomadate a few people. Well configured for multiple visitors. The location is in lower Manhattan around the corner from the 2 train. The same station gets you to the 4 & 5 trains with a little underground walking. Alot of food options in the area. I love Manhattan so the energy & busyness works for me. I will be back if the place is available. I had to leave my bags for a later flight, Perry was cool about it. Thanks Perry.

I really enjoyed my stay at Perry's loft. The only problem was the stay wasn't long enough! Seriously though, Perry is just about all you can hope for in a host. He was very responsive and accommodating to me and his other guests. His loft was very clean. The bed was comfortable. His towels were soft. Free WiFi and gourmet coffee. Various toiletries were available in case you accidentally leave your toothbrush at home. He also has a city/subway map framed on his wall, so you're able to plan your routes before leaving the loft. Speaking of the subway, Perry's loft is centrally located to most of the major subway lines, so you can pretty much get anywhere you want within one or two transfers (at the most). Also, there's plenty of great restaurants and shopping nearby (it's New York, you know), so no worries there. I had the opportunity to hang out with Perry while I was there. Perry is easygoing and has a great sense of humor, which I enjoyed. I think we're a lot a like in many ways. I was only there two days but it's funny how in those two days I feel like a friendship was born (with Perry and some of the other guests staying there as well). I will definitely be calling Perry first for my next trip to NYC. In summary, if your idea of traveling consists of meeting cool people in the city you visit and you don't mind sharing space with those people, this is a great place for you.

Great place for someone travelling alone. I really liked the markets and deli's in the area. Perfect location for siteseeing Downtown Manhattan on foot and really close to the subway if you want to take a trip Uptown. Perry was a great host who was always quickly available if you needed anything. Would highly recommend.

i was there for 2 days and it was great! perry is an excelent host, very nice and very helpfull.good location near the subway to JFK. very claen! it's a little out of central manhattan, so calculate extra time to commute. all in all, great place to stay!

Perry is a wonderful host with a wonderful apartment. I loved the way he has furnished it, very thoughtfully with all the amenities you need - including towels, toiletries, and other appliances (there is no microwave because it is a small loft, and that noise is intentionally avoided). Getting in and out was a breeze, its location and overall convenience with location to important stores, restaurants, make it an amazing bnb to crash. He even had some extra umbrellas for those overcast days, which was useful! However, I was disappointed with the overall lack of toilet cleanliness among the other guests who were living here. I found myself cleaning up after several of the guests. Although Perry can't be held responsible for that, you should be aware that you might find a not-so-clean co-guests staying in the house. The main peeve I had was the guests not cleaning the place after using it (toilet seats, the sink area, throwing away the tissue paper). This was not the case with the other common areas, that were clean. With 1 bathroom, and 5 other guests, there may be a rush for the toilet, so make sure to speak to the other guests if you have a time schedule to follow. Also, I had the private murphy bed - while the bed was soft, and comfortable, I couldn't hang out in the bed-space in the evenings because there was no light and a comfortable back rest if you want to sit and work on your laptop. (If you want the partition closed that is). I wasn't feeling particularly sociable, and there was one annoying guest who just had to keep talking till late at night (Perry was kind enough to take care of that as soon as he observed that the guest was rubbing off in a bad way). I was forced to sit in the hall area for that, but it wasn't too bad. I didn't have good sleep because the television can be used by the guest, and it was being used even at 11-12 at night, preventing me from sleeping. I recommend Perry's bnb to a budget conscious traveler, looking for a modern, conveniently located place, with a wonderful host. I have some reservations about sharing the space with 5 other guests, but otherwise it is just great.

Perry’s place is truly one of a kind. This was my first time using Airbnb, and Perry made my experience that much more memorable. The place looks just like the pictures and the amenities he provides is exceptional. His place is within walking distance to everything, and if it isn’t – the subway is near the apartment! With a great host, and a clean, comfortable environment – who wouldn’t want to stay here? Overall, my stay at Perry’s was amazing!

Stayed at Perry's for the week. I was starting a new job nearby, and I needed a place to crash while looking for an apartment nearby. Perry is a great host, and my stay was awesome. The apartment looks just like the pictures and is extremely comfortable, clean, and in a great location.

I had an incredible time here. Perry is very relaxed, and quietly makes sure that you have everything you need. I met some great people, and always felt as though I had a home to return to after a busy day in NYC.

Wonderful place. Perry is a great host! I have felt like at home, he is the balanced person: some conversation, but gives you privacy as well. I read the reviews before making the reservation, and thought they were not true, but they are!

I first met Perry whilst living in Hong Kong last year. We had many epic adventures, exploring the concrete jungle and its surrounding traditional villages and nature reserves. I can confidently say that knowing Perry throughout my 9 months stay in HK genuinely enhanced my experience and provided me with stories and memories that I will never forget. He is one of the most genuine, easy-going and intelligent human beings that I have been fortunate enough to meet and I now view him as my brother as well as one of my best buddies. I highly recommend Perry, and as a refined English gentleman, I am known for having exquisite taste haha.
