Do you love meeting new people from all over the world, and exploring new places together? What better way than to do so while staying in literally the BEST area in all of NYC! Take it from this native NewYorker -- my loft offers super easy transportation to-and-from anywhere in the city! Simply get off the plane @ JFK airport and hop on the A-train straight to the heart of Manhattan. NO TRANSFERS means NO GETTING LOST. Party in Manhattan all night, and you're just a cheap cab ride home!

Got heavy luggage? NO PROBLEM. My super awesome loft-dorm is less than a two-minute walk away from the Subway! The best part is, once you arrive I GUARANTEE you will not be disappointed! Rest easy knowing you'll get a great night's sleep on a NASA designed premium memory foam mattress generously graced with fresh and clean 400 thread-count linens and bedding!

How about safety? Good question! This building is FULLY secured with an around-the-clock 24 hour doorman at the reception area. This loft is equipped with a security camera in the common area and entrance for added security and also a security-coded keyless entry lock so guests don't have to worry about losing their set of keys and then having to pay some ridiculous fee I've seen other hosts charge to replace them!

Need to check e-mail or surf the net, but didn't bring your laptop with you? Guess what? I got you covered with FREE WiFi and unlimited usage of the ultimate all-in-one desktop computer: a 21.5" iMac loaded with Windows for the non-converts. :)

Is New York City the last stop on your world travel agenda and you piled up a ton of laundry? How's this for convenience? We have fully automated washers and dryers right outside my doorstep; literally 5 steps away. OK fine -- maybe six.

Feeling adventurous? Then explore all that New York City has to offer starting with this neighborhood. You're a stone's throw away from South Street Seaport, Wall Street, and the new World Trader Center Park; a five-minute walk to the Brooklyn Bridge where you can enjoy the iconic view of Manhattan while trekking across to the most famous borough in New York; a ten-minute walk to the hustle and bustle of Chinatown where you can shop, eat, pray and even have your palm read; from there you can head uptown to the trendy shops of SoHo, the urban din of Midtown, the glamour and glitz of Broadway and Times Square, the confluence of nature and urbanization in Central Park, and all the rest of the sights you've always dreamt of seeing!

Feeling like staying indoors? Well then feel free to chill out at home with some board games like Scrabble or Monopoly, or better yet, surf all your favorite TV shows on a 42" HDTV! The common area seats up to 6 or seven guests comfortably, so grab some drinks and snacks and make yourself at home with some new friends! When you get hungry just head downstairs for tons of food and bar options sprinkled all over the neighborhood!

Your satisfaction is my NUMBER ONE priority, so book your bed today and I guarantee you I'll do my best to make sure you leave with some great memories of the most famous city in the world!

PLEASE NOTE: This is a smoke-free environment,
but the loft is equipped with a smoking balcony that
offers views of America's new "Freedom Tower."

  • I cannot convey enough how great of a stay I had over the weekend. Perry was very accommodating and every review you read is all true!! He definitely made me feel at home and really went out of the way to make my stay great. I flew in early and had to check my bag in earlier than the check in time which he had no problem accommodating. I flew in for a cycling event and needed a place to store my bike and Perry went out of his way to store my bike. . .seriously, it made my life so much easier! The place is clean (as shown in the photos) and a very convenient location (literally a minute from the Subway). I'd definitely come back next time!

  • Great time + opportunity to explore NY right from your stay. Thanks for informations and help to get along in this huge city. Night was very quiet. At the end - if I come back I want to stay there again.

  • très bien situé, très propre, bref parfait pour séjourner quelques jours à NY

  • Perry is a great host, though he seems to prefer talkative and boisterous guests, rather than reserved and reticent ones like myself. However, he has a fantastic shared loft, he is friendly and generous, and he pays for FAST internet access :) Thanks, Perry!

  • I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Staying at the loft I got to meet so many amazing people and I had such a great time hanging out with them and exploring NYC. I felt at home right away and really enjoyed the peaceful and chill environment at Perry's place.

  • My stay in Perrys Apartement in New York was great. The apartment is small but very nice arranged for the purpose. Everything was well prepared and clean. Perry is a great and very helpful host and I got some really great tips, what to visit in NY from him. It was nice to meet people from all over the world in his place. And I could not imagine a better located place in NY to discover New York.

  • Great place, centrally located. Perry is a reliable and entertaining host. A much livelier alternative to hotels!

  • Perry was a great host. Made me feel welcomed. The apartment is large enough to accomadate a few people. Well configured for multiple visitors. The location is in lower Manhattan around the corner from the 2 train. The same station gets you to the 4 & 5 trains with a little underground walking. Alot of food options in the area. I love Manhattan so the energy & busyness works for me. I will be back if the place is available. I had to leave my bags for a later flight, Perry was cool about it. Thanks Perry.

  • I really enjoyed my stay at Perry's loft. The only problem was the stay wasn't long enough! Seriously though, Perry is just about all you can hope for in a host. He was very responsive and accommodating to me and his other guests. His loft was very clean. The bed was comfortable. His towels were soft. Free WiFi and gourmet coffee. Various toiletries were available in case you accidentally leave your toothbrush at home. He also has a city/subway map framed on his wall, so you're able to plan your routes before leaving the loft. Speaking of the subway, Perry's loft is centrally located to most of the major subway lines, so you can pretty much get anywhere you want within one or two transfers (at the most). Also, there's plenty of great restaurants and shopping nearby (it's New York, you know), so no worries there. I had the opportunity to hang out with Perry while I was there. Perry is easygoing and has a great sense of humor, which I enjoyed. I think we're a lot a like in many ways. I was only there two days but it's funny how in those two days I feel like a friendship was born (with Perry and some of the other guests staying there as well). I will definitely be calling Perry first for my next trip to NYC. In summary, if your idea of traveling consists of meeting cool people in the city you visit and you don't mind sharing space with those people, this is a great place for you.

  • Great apartment and great host! Perfectly clean. Would stay there again, and will undoubtedly recommend to others. Thank you, Perry!

More about the host
  • About: I was born in Manhattan Downtown Hospital which is actually just two blocks from where I currently live. I'm a native NewYorker who grew up in Queens but I'm happy to call the Financial District my home these days. As a human being, I'm easy-going, consider myself a good person, and believe that I exist to be a helper soul. I'm fair and honest, and somehow I've never stopped believing in the good in people. I treat people with respect, and always extend common courtesy to strangers. Like everyone else though, I'm still a work in progress but I try to stay focused, positive and am just working on the best version of myself each and every day. I look forward to meeting you all, and sharing in some nice memories to take with me into my twilight years. ~Peace~
