  The location of the apartment is perfect. It's very easy to get to the central part of the city by bus as the bus stop is located close. There is the seafood restaurant at the same address with delicate dishes and good service. Inside the apartment is not big but quite enough for two people accommodation. Especially if the guests need it for sleeping only. The 'issue' I'd like to mention is the mobile communication which is almost not available inside. The Host is friendly and helpfulness.

  Español - Roma es bellsísima, y la estadía se hace mucho mejor en casa de Antonella. Ella es una super host, muy amable y dispuesta a orientar en cualquier pregunta. Nuestra llegada fue tarde en la noche y Antonella estuo allí para esperarnos. El apartamento es muy cómodo, tal como en las fotos y a solo unos pasos del Vaticano y muy cerca al centro de la ciudad. Hay un supermercado muy cerca y varios restaurantes alrededor. La entrada al edificio no es sencilla; importante tener las indicaciones correctas para no perderse. Recomendaría a cualquiera este sitio.

  We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment. Everything was very accessible but we also felt like we had our own little place in Rome. Antonella was very helpful in providing us directions and maps of the city. I would definitely stay there again!

  This apartment was in a spectacular location for the Trastavere and Vatican City areas. The apartment was spacious with a great kitchen and bathroom. Antonella's daughter was very kind and helped us with many guides and maps when we arrived. Highly recommended!

  We had a great time staying at Steve's house. Antonella's daughter met us at the apartment, gave us great tips as to where the locals eat for amazing food, and the apartment met the description very well. The apartment is very close to St Peter's and the Vatican, but about a 45 minute walk from the downtown tourist area. We'd recommend taking the 64 line bus to the downtown areas, but the bus stop is really close to the apartment, which makes it very easy. Overall, we loved our stay and would stay there again.

  We really enjoyed our stay in Roma in this small but cosy flat. Located in a quite and safe neighborhood, just 5 minutes walk from the Vatican. There is a good restaurant next to the building, some good pizza "take away" too. Flat is clean and well furnished. Great welcome from the owner too, with every information you need (maps, books,...) ready to be used. We just missed a terrace but it's not a big deal for a short stay.

  We had a great time at Steve's house (the price-quality is excellent). The house is a good entrance to the city (400 meters from St. Pieter). Except from the nicely Trastevere to the house is a little bit difficult (taxies and buses drive on the other site of the Tiber). It's about 25 minutes walk and through a 300 meter-tunnel (we thought we could walk over the hill but we could only go through the tunnel). The apartment is a little bit hidden in an alley but it's a safe place. We had breakfast in a coffebar on the other side of the street. Furthermore is Rome fantastic. Get a Roma Pass (on the trainstation) and make a reservation by internet for visiting Vatican museum and St. Pieter or go on time to get the shortest que (a que of 1000 metres is not an exception). We advise not to visit St. Pieter and the Vatican museum on a monday in high season. Antonella, thank you for the very pleasant time.

  Good place to stay, very near from the the bus station, very clean. The only thing I didn't like was the size of the shower, it is incredibly small, the rest is great. I recommend this place.

  Before we departed, Antonella gave us good directions to the flat which enabled us to find the place fairly easily (we made a slight wrong turning right at the end, but corrected easily enough). When we got there, Antonella was waiting for us inside, and we got a very thorough introduction to the flat, transport links and things to do in the area. The flat itself was small and basic, but had all the things we required for our 2 night stay. There is a single window, with no view except for overlooking other flats. The flat is reached by ascending a single flight of stairs, and is in a relatively quiet area with excellent transport links (via the 64 bus). The big plus point for this place is it's location. Just outside the flat and turning a corner, you will be staring at the back of the Dome of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. Perfect if you will be exploring the Vatican City. edd ps. downpoints. There were a couple of them. The house itself is furnished quite basic. Its not equivalant to a 5 star hotel! There was something funny about the floorboards, they were a bit bobbly; Antonella said these were being fixed soon. Also, the corridor at the front entrance had an odd smell. But, if you are just using the place as a base to explore rome, the flat is ideal.

  Antonella's apartment was wonderful! The location was very convenient - a block away from the tram - from which you can easily connect to buses, the train to the airport, and etc. We loved the Trastevere area and found a few great restaurants. There's a supermarket and a fruit shop close by, as well as a little launderette that did our laundry for 8 euros. Would defintiely stay here if we get back to Rome again!

  Antonella was a great host. She provided a lot of information prior to our trip to help us reach the accommodation. Her daughter helped us out upon our arrival providing a brief guide of the area and even helping my friend give me directions, as I was arriving separately. Hope to visit Rome again and would definitely use Antonella again!

  We stayed eight nights at Antonella’s place and we would happily return there on our next trip to Rome. The apartment was very convenient to traffic, and it was fun to live in a residential area of Rome rather than a tourist area. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen small but well set up, and the AC and wifi worked great. Antonella (and her daughter who met us on the first day) made sure we had everything we needed and was easily reachable when we had questions.

  This little apartment was very quaint and arty, it had a student feel about it, with some of the owner's daughter's paintings on display. It was quiet, in a good area and the property is very secure. The transport links were amazing to all the major attractions. The bed was very comfortable also. On a minus though one or two little points to ponder on. It was difficult to contact the owner on arrival in Rome which was a bit disconcerting. The property is a bit tired looking and could be doing with some freesh decorating. The shower cubicle is also very small.. FINALLY. A question about the very large security deposit it is a bit extreme and couold be reconsidered as it would put some people of from booking. Having said all that I would definately recomend the property as we enjoyed our stay. Thank You. The McMillans. Scotland

  Great place. It is far enough from the city where you get away from the tourism (which allows you for better/cheaper food), but close enough to get anywhere in Rome no longer than 30 minutes (typically just 15 minutes). Our host, Antonella, was extremely nice and greeted us at the apartment. She made sure we knew exactly where everything was so we could get there. PS. Make sure you go to the places around the apartment that she tells you about. The wine is amazing and cheap, and the food is great.

  Antonella's apartment is small, but very comfortable and convenient. Although Antonella was kind enough to set up a cot for our three year old, I would not recommend having more than two people as the place will seem very crowded. Otherwise, it's perfect for a single or couple looking for basic housing in a great location. Antonella was very responsive about a problem with the door lock. The tram at the end of the street takes you through the happening Trastevere neighborhood and right into the center of Rome in 15 minutes. The nearby supermarket will save you lots of money over eating out. The park at the top of the hill is a pleasant place to spend time if you do have children or just want to sit and watch life go by.

  Our stay at Antonella's place was great, could not expect anything better!!! Really nice flat with everything you need for longer stay and the connection with city center flexible, just in few minutes you can reach historical center and the neighbourhood calm, with supermarket at your feet. I'd like to thenk Antonella and her daughter:)

  My wife and I really loved this place and the surrounding neighborhood. Rome is very touristy, and it was great to experience the city like a local. It's quiet, safe, and a few blocks from the metro. Antonella was quick to respond to all of our questions. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

  We had a lovely time in Antonella's flat. The place is perfect for two persons, clean, fully fitted, practical. It's located in a friendly neighborhood, far enough from the city's touristic crazyness and noise, but very close to the public transports which allow you to be in the center of Trastevere in 10 minutes and in the center of Rome 5 minutes later. Antonella was very nice and gave us good advises about where to go out and where to eat. We would definitely recommend this place! Thanks again!
