Entire level- Entertainment,hot tub

A quiet room looking out on a beautiful back yard. The hosts are friendly and helpful, even willing to run out in the evening to provide coffee for the next morning. It is 15 to 20 minutes to downtown Madison or the UW campus, but worth the trade-off for a residential area less than a block from a small Lake Monona park. It also possible to take bike paths downtown or to the campus.

ryan & denise's digs were fabulous. everything went off w/o a hitch. though i didn't get to spend as much time with them as i would've liked, they attend the WI Film Festival in Madison and saw our short film screening so that was cool. planning a trip to Madison - stay here. ;)

I didn't meet Denise, but Ryan was so nice! The living area was very comfortable...we only stayed one night, so didn't use the kitchen at all, but did use the hot tub. Had to get our because of a lightning storm, but I was getting pruney anyway. We also went out on the canoe in the morning and it was such a beautiful way to start the day. No complaints...had a lovely stay.

Ryan and Denise have a beautiful, clean, comfortable home. We only met Ryan and during our conversation he was very helpful with guiding us toward points of interest in the area. We would definitely stay with them again!

Ryan and Denise were great! They made us feel right as home as soon as my boyfriend and I got there. We were a bit nervous because we had never used airbnb before but we were more than happy with our experience. They gave us privacy (the entire lower floor) but when we decided not to go out we just stayed in and sampled some beers and watched scary movies with Ryan and Denise. It was a blast!!! We miss the kitties though :(

I didn't get much chance to visit with Ryan & Denise, but they were very accommodating, and the place is very comfortable. Location is not convenient for public transit, but close to where I needed to be - not having a car would put you at some inconvenience or expense for taxis.

I can't say enough about Denise and Ryan, and all their sweet furry friends. I came to Madison to conduct my dissertation research study. I arrived with a car packed full of equipment, and they literally let me move in downstairs for 18 days. They gave me the space I needed to get much work done, but then when I was ready for human contact they took me out on the town for an unforgettable night. I can't wait to come back (and bring my husband!), but this time for fun. Thanks for the friendship, fun, and awesome bed!

Denise and Ryan were most excellent hosts. Beautiful home, loved the hot tub, and we're pet lovers, so loved the cats. Obviously not for those who are allergic to cats or don't like cats, but very very clean, no cat odor, no problems whatsoever with them. Loved the hot tub. Would definitely recommend and will probably return if we head back to Madison again.

We decided to try this instead of a hotel for our NYE trip and it was perfect. We got to relax, eat, sit in the hot tub and bring in the new year in comfort. Denise and Ryan are super nice and really open their home to you. The cats are sweet and very well behaved. The place is very clean and looks exactly like the pictures. It's within 15 minutes of anywhere you could want to go out there. We loved our stay and hope to visit again. My boyfriend wants me to add his review as well, "Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!"

My husband and I have known Ryan and Denise for six years. We helped them buy the house they are currently renting and we have been to their home several times. Throughout the years, they have become close personal friends. Ryan and Denise are fun, hospitable, and courteous hosts. They always make you feel welcome in their home. Ask them about borrowing their canoe for a fun Monona Lake experience! If we didn't live close by, we would rent the room from them! Don't forget to pet the cats if you see them.

Having stayed several times pre-Airbnb, I can say the house is clean, the kitties are friendly, and the hot tub is hot! A great place to stay, beautiful neighborhood with beach close by and view of the capital. Denise and Ryan are very friendly and accommodating - I plan on staying many more times in the future!
