Large bedroom with private bathroom/shower in spacious condo in a quiet neighborhood that is only a few blocks from California Avenue train station, the Sunday farmers' market, and a busy neighborhood shopping district. El Camino Ave bus lines, banking and chain restaurants (Chipotle baby!) are only two blocks in another direction; soccer fields and running trails just beyond. Stanford campus accessible by foot (20-30 minutes via residential route) or by the school's regular free 'Marguerite' shuttle from El Camino or California Avenues.
Your room will be the larger master bedroom/bathroom. The bed is built by Urban Woods in Los Angeles and features reclaimed Douglas fir with sustainable Kirei inlay. The new mattress is handmade by Matsu in Berkeley, California of natural rubber which is dust-mite resistant. A selection of new pillows is on offer and you'll enjoy sampling the super absorbency of woven bamboo towels by Nandina.
Leave the blinds open if you forgot your alarm clock, there is lots of early morning sun. Plenty of closet space. Large work area with guest wireless internet access.
We have soft bamboo fiber robes if you get chilly after a shower. Towels, bikes and we sometimes we have coffee and tea.
Common areas available for your use. Large sectional handmade sofa (EKLA), recliner (IKEA, don't tell), and zabutons galore (if you prefer to lounge in the floor).
