This is a gem of a place! If it is available for your travel dates, book it. Beautiful, comfortable, peaceful and Carla and her husband Matt were the perfect hosts. One note of caution....you won't want to leave.

Wow! The loft at Anam Cara Farm is absolutely stunning! Beautiful interior design and attention to detail providing a peaceful, tranquil, and relaxing getaway. It is perfect place to stay whether just for one night or an extended stay. There is a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, bathroom, and washer & dryer on the main level. The upper level has the most comfortable bed & washroom. A delicious organic breakfast of muffins, croissants, fruit, yogurt, and coffee was placed in the kitchen prior to our arrival for us to enjoy in the morning. It is situated in a pastural setting not far from the city of Abbotsford. Carla and Steve were wonderful hosts taking time to show us around the farm and meeting the animals. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon!

The place is very clean, inviting, welcoming and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the place was quiet. Carla was nice enough to have fresh berries, fruit, yoghurt and baked goods for breakfast. Wish we had more time to visit with the animals, but there is always the next time.

Carla's place is really nice! Everything was clean and well kept. If you get the chance to go see her animals, I recommend it. Beware that her place is outside the city and not close to any bus routes, so a vehicle is a must. Our only complaint would be we were never offered any breakfast, with it being a bed and breakfast this is something we thought was included.

Response from Carla:
Thank you Brooke for your feedback. I am sorry for the confusion around breakfast. We have included breakfast in the past and rather than raise our prices this year we decided to offer tea/coffee instead as is stated in the description of what is offered. We would have been happy to provide you both some breakfast items had we known right away that this was your expectation. We strive to do the utmost to keep our guests happy.

Carla's place is beautifully decorated. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the space was totally quiet. WE had a great sleep and appreciated the hot plate and microwave available to cook a quick meal the night we stayed. Every utensil we needed was in the mini kitchen - including salt pepper and sugar. We also enjoyed checking out the pigs and horses in the barn. thanks Carla
