Get cozy in this gorgeous apartment located right in the center of the most fun neighborhood in NYC. The bedroom has a comfy queen bed, accommodating 2 people max. There is also a bathroom with tub and shower, Heat + A/C, full kitchen and common area.
** NOTE: This listing is for a single bedroom in this 2-bedroom apartment. If you would prefer to rent the entire apartment, please check my other listings.
We also offer an optional breakfast and dinner in the apartment prepared by a chef formerly of Jean-Georges (one of the best French restaurants in Manhattan)! Let me know if you are interested.
Welcome to trendy, artistic East Village - the true heartbeat of the city. Being in the East Village you're close to the fashionable Soho, Tribeca, Lower East Side and great cheap eats in Chinatown. You are also a quick subway ride from the Meatpacking District and Times Square, but without the noise and high prices.
The East Village is the center of NYC nightlife, featuring hundreds of bars and restaurants from cheap eats to more chic and upscale. There are several all-night delis and a supermarket right around the corner from the apartment.
The East Village Cocoon is close to the subway: the J/M/Z (Delancey station) and the F (2nd Ave station) are each a 5 minute walk. The 6 (Bleecker station) is a 10 minute walk, and Union Square, a major transportation hub, is a 15 minute walk.
During the day, the park nearby, brunches and strolls along the independent artists and designers shops should keep you nicely busy.
I'd say the apt is around 600 sq. feet (60m2), which is a very good size for the area. The bedroom itself is around 150 sq feet (15m2), there is good size living-room, large kitchen and a bathroom with bathtub! The apartment is already fully furnished, so it's ideal for people staying short-term or who have just moved into the city. And it's on the 2nd floor, so no huge stairway to climb. The room available has a queen size bed with bedlinen, a lamp and some new furniture.
All the tourist areas such as Chinatown, Soho, Brooklyn Bridge, Empire State Building to name a few are all within walking distance.
