Description

The space

This renovated condo offers incredible views of the Vail Mountain, the Vail Valley, Gore Range and Lionshead Mountain. It is located on a street with multi-million dollar houses, a coveted location for a quality accommodations for the vacationers from all over the world.

No car is needed! A free bus runs every 20 minutes and will take you to the Vail Village in 7-10 minutes. But if you have a car, there is only ONE car port available for this property. Tandem parking is allowed ONLY DURING OFF SNOW season. Additional designated parking is just .2 miles away on the street below. NO PARKING there during the scheduled snow removal: every Friday 8 AM to Noon.

Enjoy your time using a lap top or a glass of wine in our relaxation area next to the windows, which capture breath taking views. High speed internet, cable TV and APPLE TV are offered during the ski season. BEWARE: basic internet and Apple TV are offered off the ski season.

Sleeping arrangements: A queen size real bed in each of the two bedrooms, pull out full size sofa is in a living room.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need and more.
There are extra sheet, towels, blankets and extra pillows in the laundry room for your convenience. A down-comforter and down pillows are provided for each of the beds.
Ski and snowboard storage is located next to the car port.
Please no walking in the shoes or boots inside the unit: a large rack for ski/snowboard boots is located in a laundry room of the condo.

The entry door code will be provided shortly prior to arrival.

The neighborhood

Most convenient free bus stop and shopping:
The closest free Vail City bus stop is approximately 0.2 miles from the condo and is located at the corner of Vail View Dr. and Red Sandstone Dr. Bus ride to Vail Village terminal is approximately 7 mintes. Bus leaves every 20 minutes during the day, and every 30 minutes in the evening. You will find a schedule on the kitchen table of our condo.
Grocery stores, Safeway and City Market, are located approximately 2 miles West on N. Frontage Rd., as well as fast food, pizza and other restaurants and liquor stores. Enjoy fine dining and shopping in Vail Village with free parking in the Village and Lions Head parking structures after 2:00 PM.

From Interstate 70 take Vail Exit #174, enter roundabout and take a right to N. Frontafe Rd., left on N. Frontage Rd. going West, continue 1 mile, turn rignt onto Red Sandstone Rd., continue 0.3 miles, turn left onto Vail View Dr., continue 0.1 miles, turn slight right onto Sandstone Dr., continue 0.1 miles, to the two story-first building on the left, unit #401 is located approximately at the center of the building. Park in a car port identified as #401.

Store you snow boards and skies in a storage closet next to a car port outside.
AT CHECKOUT: please take all the trash to the trash bin outside the condo, turn all the lights and fans off and set thermostats at 60 degrees.
PLEASE REPORT any issues with the condo, any damaged or missing items ASAP.
