This cottage is owned by a recording studio 400 yards up the hill, when it's not home to the artist in the studio it's available for idlers, dreamers, makers and shakers. Indeed many musicians who have stayed whilst recording have returned for their hols.
With safe parking on a no-through cobbled lane (the odd horse ambles past), stunning views of the Moors, great pubs serving real ale, an Organic health food store, a well stocked Co-Op, an award winning curry house, Thai restaurant, the oldest chippy in the country, vintage junk super store...it's Utopia!
The cottage has a washing machine, free WiFi, a phone, fully equipped kitchen, television and DVD, stereo, i-pod dock, 3 single beds, a fold out single bed and a sofa. 2 of the single beds can be zipped together to form a super king size bed on request.
The lounge also contains a carefully chosen selection of DVDs, books and music to add to this relaxed and creative environment.
Age relevant baby/child accessories (highchairs, cots, toys etc) are also available upon request.
It's located 100 yards from the train station from which trains run to Manchester in under 20 mins, Liverpool, Leeds and York are also acessable by train in an hour. Walk, fish, ramble or amble through the stunning Saddleworth countryside or head into the UK's most creative city, Manchester lies just 8 miles away
