Barbara Reale , a painter of contemporary art and Marco, italian chef , working for Girasolereale Bed and Breakfast Suites in Rome Eur and apartment vacation rentals in Rome and Ostia, developing this project to share the culture and traditions of Italian Family, Art and nature tourism.
Her Atelier Rome Eur reflects its elegant taste but a little delabré . The environments are special because this house is a Centre of international Art Community. So Barbara has prioritized this aspect and she has made special space for the painter and for the artworks exhibitions from artists hosted stressing that charmant air of home with old furniture found by scavengers and accessories related to the Art world .
In each suite of ed and breakfast in Rome Eur you will find items from brocante raked across all Italy , spirit of recovery and soul of Art throughout the house.

    Barbara and Marco are incredible hosts. Their hospitality exceeded anything we could have imagined. They picked us up at the train station and treated us like family. Their maps and tips on sightseeing and riding the subway made the experience most enjoyable. The accommodations were excellent. The washing machine was a big help and the air conditioning a pleasant refuge from the hot Roman sun. The bed was comfortable and the jacuzzi bathtub was great. Getting to the sights was easy with the central location of this apartment.

    Barbara & Marco are wonderful hosts. They were willing to pick us up at the train station and after we arrived they generously brought us out for an aperitivo. Barbara has lived in the US and speaks English and Marco can speak English as well. They provided maps, made restaurant suggestions and helped us reserve a private transportation to the airport for our departure. The Ostia Beach Studio was located directly across the street from the free beach. The location is terrific, but the accomodations are a bit dreary. The studio was damp and smelled of mildew and did not feel super clean. I think with some cleaning, updating and resolution of the mildew the accomodations would be more comfortable. If you're accustomed to hosteling, you'll feel at home.

  • About: BARBARA and Marco, owner/managers of the inn, were raised in Rome Centre. They hold memories of a kind of hospitality of the real Roman's People. Rome was always full of tourist and they are travelling a lot, and they become very open mind. Barbara is a contemporary artist and she had one years around experience living in California These helped form an approach to hospitality. They choose carefully all the location for Girasolereale. The Rome Centre wasn't in a ‘normal’ area but one of the most artistic and tipical for trattorie as it was trastevere long time ago, The rome's beaches vacation rentals are located all by the sea max 150 meter walking distance, in Ostia and Torvajanica. And as an added bonus, there are 30 minutes to the Rome city center by metro. Marco and Barbara live in the Girasolereale bed and breakfast in Rome residential area, where Barbara create her artworks and they share their culture with all their guest, often with evening wine & hors d'oeuvres, served in their art gallery livingroom or in the garden's patio. We try to give our best, create an experience of italian genuine, unfailing hospitality, we are not an hotel, we are Human Accommodations, we talk with you, we lauf together, we share our life and our culture: the italian culture, with yours.
