We are excited to announce that Lia was recently honored internationally by Airbnb for establishing a hosting community here in Pasadena. What began as her desire to meet other hosts and form a support network has grown from 12 local hosts to almost 70, and is still growing as a great community. You can learn more on the Airbnb blog -- type in: blog dot Airbnb, then dot and com, then slash. After the slash: the-2015-host-award-winners, with hyphens, and then a final slash. Then scroll down to the end of the list to see Lia's video.
We're both photographers and writers. We are experienced and enthusiastic travelers who've been on the road for quite a few years, and we like to use this experience as hosts. We enjoy new travel experiences and meeting new people.
We love sharing our knowledge about our neighborhood, Pasadena, and Los Angeles. We want our guests to have a great SoCal experience. We're fans of the LA Metro Rail system and are glad to help you plan a car-free stay (Yes, it can be done!) or figure out how to use your car less to avoid traffic. We even provide Metro TAP Cards loaded with your first rides.
Our organic garden is filled with fruit trees and grapevines and we're glad to share this bounty with our guests. Plus, our neighborhood is filled with bakeries — the croissants from around the corner are better than the ones at the bakery downstairs from the Paris Airbnb apartment we stayed in!
Our Airbnb experiences have been great, and we look forward to more!
