An excellent stay at Matteos place. Great location, very clean, and a lot of advice and info from the host. Will definitely be stopping here again the next time we're in NYC.

The location of the apt you can't get better..it's in the center of everything between midtown and the upper east side next too Bloomies and Dylan's candy and all major subways for cheap transportation. Matteo kept the apt nicely heated throughout my stay and provided a very comfortable linens and such for the apt. He was always available if I needed something and very relaxed.

Matteo is an exceptionally fantastic host!

The apartment was what I expected and was in a great location. The neighbors where great as well. Everything in the apartment was great,enough space and essentials to feel like home whilst working in NYC. The only negative was no cable being available. The upside is appletv with netflixs account and internet from the host was in the apartment. Would recommend to anyone to stay here and will definitely use this again myself. Steven

We ended up staying in this apartment because another apartment through the same host that we had reserved was mistakenly not available. At first we were a little upset that instead of staying near Columbus Circle as we had thought, we were now staying all the way downtown near Wall Street. However, once we were there, we we very happy that the mishap occured Matteo is an unbelievably gracious host, checking in often to make sure that all was going well. The building is very cool, starting at the front door. The amenities in the building are all top-shelf. The apartment is elegantly contemporary with some great italian furniture. There is a laundry room on each floor, which is very convenient. The kitchen is fabulous. And the location is so convenient to the subway lines and tons of great eating establishments. And what can you say about walking three blocks to the site of WTC1. All in all, a great stay. A little pricier than most, but worth it,

We stayed in this UWS apartment for a full week while attending performances at the Metropolitan Opera. I can't imagine how our stay could have been more perfect! The apartment was wonderful, very clean, neat, brand new appliances. The area is perfect with nearby Central Park, Lincoln Center, restaurants and museums. I became a real New Yorker with free on street parking and street sweeper dodging right in front of the apartment. As for our host Matteo we couldn't have asked for more. He was extremely responsive, friendly, helpful and in every way a perfect host. The accomodations were delivered exactly as billed and promised. When our circuit breaker blew during my wife's hairdrying, he answered my call in seconds and the super repaired the problem in less than 5 minutes. That was the ONLY small technical glitch during our stay. I would gladly return to the same apartment or similar hosted by Matteo. Thanks for all your help!! We can't wait to return.

Matteo was the best Host you can get! The Apartment was a lot more than we expected, best view and location, super clean, big, quiet, confortable. And everything we needed matteo was always available, He even rent a van to move my things the day I left. No surprises at all, everything perfect and more!

The apt was really nice! brand new and in line with the photos! the fact that central park is close to the apt was perfect for us, we have loved central park. Matteo advise us one good restaurant in the area, which was indeed nice. We will probably come back to NYC as 1 week was not enough to discover everything!!!

The place was perfect! It was exactly as listed and was very cool and extremely clean. We had an early arrival and late check out and Matteo was totally cool with everything. Definitely recommend this place..Great price for a safe and cool location.

La experiencia global con el departamento fue muy buena: si bien esta en un edificio antiguo sin ascensor, el departamento esta remodelado y equipado tal como se ve en las fotos. La TV funciona con Nextflix y hay una buena velocidad de conexion a internet. El baño es moderno y limpio. La cocina tiene lo basico para una persona. La ubicacion es EXCELENTE: a 5 minutos de central park y la quinta avenida, con la estacion del metro en la esquina para las lineas N,Q,R, 4,5 y 6. Hay buenos restaurantes alrededor y Bloomingdales esta al frente. El barrio es seguro. Matteo y Sara fueron muy amables.

I stand by what I say here, though the host has retaliated with an insulting and inaccurate review of me. I have stuck to the facts. PROS: Comfortable bed (firm) Clean sheets & linens Good location for getting around town Simple uncomplicated decor CONS: We never met Matteo. He failed to tell us he had recently varnished the wood floors. The smell was pervasive (detectable from the hallway), persistent and made our eyes, throat and nose burn. The smell made sleeping or even relaxing in the apartment very difficult. My husband and I had to leave the apartment after breakfast and stay out as long as we could throughout our vacation. They were unresponsive, and even dismissive, when we asked about the strong chemical smell in the apartment. We had to purchase a fan to help circulate air in the apartment. Except for the bed, the apartment was dusty everywhere. Upon arrival we couldn’t put anything away until we had wiped down surfaces for our clothes. The closet shelves were especially dusty and my husband had to get on a chair and clean them. The coffee table was dusty. The carpet needed a serious vacuuming. The sofa needed to be cleaned. Even the cute Ikea cubicles were covered in dust.

I certainly was not disappointed by my stay here, regardless of how short it may have been. I stayed in NY the 12-14 of April and ended up finding Matteo's place. After some small scheduling issues, which he was great about, I got to the place around 9 or so. I was shown around the apartment, shown how the TV works etc. The location is great as there is a metro stop just at the corner (which also means expect a bit of noise during the night). All in all it lead to a great experience, I really don't have anything bad to say about the place. It's a perfect location and Matteo is a greatly accommodating host!
