Great opportunity to share our piece of paradise in Kailua, Hawaii. Bright, clean private bedroom available in our two story home only steps away from one of the world's most beautiful beaches. The recently remodeled spa like bathroom is shared and you have access to the laundry room, lovely kitchen, garden areas and outdoor tiki bar. The room has beautiful mountain views and large plumeria tree growing just outside the window. Our peaceful neighborhood makes it perfect for turning on the ceiling fan and opening up the windows at night.

Our surf and standup paddle boards, towels, beach chairs and umbellas are available for your use. The room is airconditioned with wireless internet access and cable TV.

Kailua Town is just a 10 minute walk to great restaurants, cute shops and stores. While the private beach access closest to our house is just a block away, Kailua Beach Park is an easy 15-20 minute walk to Buzz's Steakhouse, Kalapawai Market, Bob's Pizzaria - my favorite pizza and lots of water sport activities.

And....Our mini dachshund will make sure your always safe! Come share our piece of paraadise

Beth was a great host! She was super helpful with advice on where to eat and visit, and literally lives across the street from the best beach on the island. In the morning we got a cup of coffee, and she would either give us fruit or a baked treat, or sometimes both. The only downside is that you share a bathroom with her kids and you are in a bedroom within their main house, so it's not the most private of accommodations. But, this also made it a really affordable place for us to stay. I would highly recommend it here, especially if you're looking for a less touristy place to stay.

  • We had a great stay with beth and her family! Nice clean room and towels, beach towels, ananas-zucchini-muffins :-) , boogie-boards, ... wonderful beach nearby ! Thanks a lot !!! We recommend to all, N+P

  • Beth's place really IS a piece of paradise in Kailua. Located just over the road from a beautiful sandy beach and about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the local town, it is very well situated (particularly if, like us, you don't want to be obliged to drive everywhere). Beth's house is charming - our room was clean and pretty and we were given towels to use during our stay and had a TV in our room. There is an outside tiki bar area and a patio. We were also able to borrow beach towels, sun screen and a surfboard for the beach. Beth baked us some home made cakes and prepared fresh fruit fur us each morning and we had access to the coffee machine in the kitchen. This was an added bonus as we weren't expecting breakfast! Beth was very friendly and welcoming and happy to provide information about the local area. We felt that we were given excellent value for money and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beth's place - this was the first time we have used Airbnb and considering we were staying in someone's house (with Beth and her family), we felt extremely comfortable and at home. We would definitely recommend Beth's place to all and sundry!

  • Great location in Kailua, so close to an awesome beach with great swimming, Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Beth and family were very welcoming. We appreciated the use of some body boards, and Beth's delicious baking! We had a great time!

  • Beth was a first-class host. She and her adorable pups welcomed us warmly upon arrival and showed us the hidden neighborhood beach access trail. The room was fresh and cheery with a great view of the mountains. In the morning she even had warm scones baking. I would encourage anyone thinking of staying in Kailua to check with Beth first!

  • Wow! What a beautiful home, host and hostess. I was made to feel right at home from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. I plan to go back sometime in the near future. Melinda Klescewski Pacific Grove, CA

  • Terrific experience. I will return. Especially the flowers, clean, clean, clean and sooo close to the beach! Hurray for this piece of paradise!

A comfortable home, very conveniently close to a great beach. Enjoyed our time in Kalua

  • We were told we'd only have to share the bathroom with 1 daughter but others were also using that bath, including host when she rented out her own bedroom to others. No bedroom key provided so we could only lock our door when we were inside; we chose to keep most things in the car trunk. It's not really off street parking either, open area in front of rental next door. One pastry and cup of coffee (when the Keurig was working) per person per day and one set of sheets and towels for the week, otherwise it was very hospitable. Just the facts Ma'am

  • 1 block away from one of the prettiest beaches ever! Beth and her family were wonderful and even made my husband a birthday cake (which was delicious). Would stay there again for sure. A big thank you to the whole family and air kisses to Lilly( the new puppy).

  • About: I am one of the luckiest women around. I live in a beautiful spacious home in Kailua, Hawaii, one block from the beach, with my awesome husband John and two exceptional teenagers. We love to "talk story" (the Hawaiian slang term for chatting) with interesting people, spending time together at the beach and watching football - we're Uof A and AZ Cardinals fans! I spend my free time in my garden, reading great books, hiking or walking the beach with my dogs, and baking/cooking yummy things. Kailua is a lovely town. I'd love to share our piece of paradise with you! Warmest Aloha Beth
