Come and enjoy bed and breakfast in our lovely typical French Provençal villa. We live in a beautiful rambling home just made for socialising or relaxing privately with your partner, family or a group of friends. As our five children have pretty much flown the nest, we have decided to use Airbnb as a great way to meet nice people and also generate some useful income.

***** WE HAVE 4 BEDROOMS AVAILABLE SO IF THE DATES YOU REQUIRE SEEM UNAVAILABLE THEN PLEASE ENQUIRE THROUGH MY OTHER LISTING FOR THE SAME PROPERTY. ALTERNATIVELY AMEND YOUR DATES TO MAKE CONTACT WITH US ******

The villa has seven bedrooms in total with large grounds of 8,000 square metres. We are in a totally peaceful haven of tranquillity yet still very well located for touring the region. We are surrounded by scores of pretty villages and squares, yet just a short drive to coastal favourites like Cannes, Nice and Antibes. We are also just a five minute drive from the beautiful perfume town of Grasse. Needless to say we are a great centre for wonderful walks and bike rides.

We are able to offer four bedrooms as bed & breakfast nightly rentals.

As long as we are home when you are there we will prepare you a generous continetal breakfast of coffee/tea, juice, croissants and nice local preserves.

Bedroom one: Master double bedroom with French doors leading onto the garden and a huge walk-in Italian stone wet room with a toilet, bath and open shower. This room is on the ground floor yet tucked privately and quietly away at one end of villa. There is Sky TV where channels are shared with the rest of the property.

Bedroom two: A lovely first floor round double bedroom in typical French style but with the added bonus of a lovely outdoor bathroom and views to the sea & mountains where you can relax on one of the sun-loungers or enjoy an outdoor bath or shower. There is also a loo and indoor shower-room opposite which is usually used exclusively for this room unless you have taken more than one room of course.

Bedroom three: A pretty little first floor bedroom with a double bed. This room is often used as a satellite to the round bedroom for children or larger parties. There is Sky TV where channels are shared with the rest of the property.

Bedroom Four: A pretty little bedroom with two single beds. This room is often used as a satellite to the round bedroom for children or larger parties and is on the first floor.
We also have a totally self-contained two bedroom apartment which is available from time to time.

We try not to mix parties on the first floor so you will have total privacy. The villa is nearly 300 square metres in size and generally there will be just two of us at home. On occasions I am away then you will have the entire property to yourselves. During these periods Breakfast will not be available so we will need to make a cost adjustment.

The villa has the most wonderful outside space with several terraces, including the one on the roof! There is also another large terrace leading from the lounge overlooking the swimming pool which you are of course quite welcome to use weather permitting. If you feel like cooking 'Al Fresco' then there is a great outdoor kitchen with a Weber BBQ, and a wood burning pizza oven. This is all set in a beautiful shady area where you can relax easily with family and friends. When you have had enough of the sun, this area has a dining table and 2 Moroccan stone sofas.

Inside there is obviously a high standard of tasteful furnishing and level of comfort, with lots of areas where you can simply relax after a hard day exploring our beautiful region.
There is fantastic hi-fi equipment, a huge plasma TV and Sky in a luxury TV Room and ADSL and Wi-Fi throughout

For you cooks out there we have a wonderful professional kitchen with 48' Wolf Cooking range with BBQ and Teppanyaki, Sub-Zero 600 Fridge/ freezer granite throughout and as Louise is a chef it is naturally very well equipped!

Chef facilities (by Louise) are occasionally available for that special celebration lunch or dinner and can often be cheaper than going out to eat. The other benefit of this is that you do not have to worry about babysitters or taxis and can enjoy fantastic wine at supermarket prices! Just ask for our CATERING WEBSITE. We also have a 16 year old daughter that is often available (with references) for babysitting.

It is conveniently located just a 5 minutes drive from the old French perfume town of Grasse which has the most wonderful history. The old town is extremely interesting with tiny streets that wind forever between the historic buildings, leading up and down ancient steps and passing through arched tunnels, sometimes opening out on to large squares. There is also near the magnificent cathedral of Grasse (with three Rubens!) and Fragonard which is one of the main perfumeries of Grasse - 'the perfume capital of the world'. You might have even read the book! You might want to even have a wander around the local produce market (not one of the biggest) in the Place des Herbes, and the daily flower market is held in Place aux Aires where there is also a large choice of Provençal restaurants. There is public underground car park.

The apartment is less than an hour away from the nearest ski resort - Gréolières and there are 3 more excellent ski-resorts, Val d'Allos, Isola 2000 and Auron just ninety minutes down the road. There are also some great excellent golf courses in and around Grasse. There are lots of hiking routes and paragliding is also a popular local sport up in Gourdon. Sail boats can be hired down in nearby Cannes and there are all the other popular water sports including water-skiing, windsurfing, parascending and stand-up paddle.

For children, there is the excellent Oceanographic museum at Monaco, the Florian sweet factory at Pont sur Loup, and Antibes Land which has a water park, aquarium and farm. There is also go-karting nearby and a glass-bottom boat goes out from Juan les Pins checking out the wrecks and sea-life in and around the exclusive Cap d'Antibes. Our kids also love the great climbing place down in Villeneuve Loubet.

  • What a brilliant introduction to the French Rivieria. A stunning villa, gorgeous gardens, lovely pool, stunning views and the best hosts. I so enjoyed staying with Wayne & family. They were the best fun, incredibly helpful, welcoming and so gracious. We were lucky to score the top rotunda room with a private balcony - just blissful! The morning breakfast of croissants, rolls and jam, coffee, juice & tea was a great way to start each day's journey into Cannes. Am hoping to be able to return next year during Cannes Festival to again stay with friends and family at this diamond accommodation. Highly recommend this gorgeous villa as a place to stay. Finding it without GPS was a daily challenge but well worth it :-) Love this place and the hosts.

  • Amazing house, amazing host & amazing experience. The perfect complement to an amazing south-of-France experience! Thanks again!

  • Wayne and his wife are kind, well-travelled, humorous, and very tuned into hospitality and guest satisfaction! The home was EXACTLY what I imagined and MORE. Arriving at their home is like stepping into a classic holiday movie and feeling that loving energy of a 'happy home' taking you over. The home is beyond comfy, super clean, and set in a location that words really can't describe. These two bend over backwards to make sure you have everything you need and feel welcomed. A hot bath and a nice meal, before crawling into the bed after a long day of driving, made us feel like we had arrived HOME. (but way more romantic!!) Every little detail has been thought of to make your stay memorable. The morning light was gorgeous through our windows. The highlight for me, was staying in bed a bit longer and listening to the birds outside...I didn't want to leave. I dream of coming back here for a wedding !!! :) As far as hosting: they are simply masters. From the smallest to the largest these two have it covered, not missing a beat. We ARE coming back for a week as soon as possible! The pictures listed only slightly set the mood for what you are in for once you arrive.... this place wins the best hosts and best villa award on AirB&B !!!! Though our time wasn't long, we left yearning for more. That small taste left a life long memory we won't forget :)

  • Wayne is an excellent host and his place is gorgeous! I highly recommend this property, location, and host! He will take good care of you. :-)

  • What a wonderful bed and breakfast and what great hosts. I loved my trip to the French Riviera and Cannes, everything was perfect and they were so helpful. Thank you Wayne, Lucy and airbnb. I am just sad that I could only stay one night. I will definitely be back!

  • Wonderful, amazing, welcoming, spectacular...these are some of the words to describe Wayne, Lucy, Lily and the villa. My relatives and I had the best time staying at the villa. Wayne is extremely kind, flexible, caring and communicative. He and his family made us feel at right at home. They are the loveliest people, very easy going, fun, caring and sweet. We really enjoyed our time with them. We could not stop talking about Wayne and family through the remainder of our trip. The villa is spectacular, the views breathtaking. The rooms were very clean; cozy and the beds extremely comfortable. We had the whole floor to ourselves, thank you Wayne. The breakfast spread was a great start to our day and the company very entertaining. The location is very convenient, close to Cannes and Nice and Wayne and family gave great directions and suggestions to restaurants and sights. :) There are also several great restaurants close by. I could go on and on. You cannot go wrong staying with Wayne. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer. We had the most relaxing time with Wayne and family. They made our stay very pleasant and easy. Overall, a great time was had by all of us. We would definitely stay with Wayne and family again. THEY ARE THE BEST!

  • Прекрасная поездка- погода, еда и красота

  • This bed and breakfast is situated in the most beautiful surroundings, offering a surreal and peaceful outlook on the French hillside. The property is as magnificent as the surrounding scenery - with rooms furnished to exude a very homely feel. It is the perfect retreat for a quiet getaway - with the town of Valbonne near by. A definite recommendation - and not to mention how absolutely wonderful and warm the owners Wayne and Lucy are. Also perfect to use as a camp base for a shoot that is based in the SOF. Nearby access to motorways – the perfect place for a recce. Plenty of room to prep and plan and then very accessible to get around and shoot. With this in mind, the Villa itself can also house a large quantity of crew at any one time – which is always an added bonus! I highly recommend it as a whole package.

  • We had an exceptional stay at Wayne's B+B/French villa! Our flight into Nice was delayed by several hours, so knowing we'd be arriving after dark, (and we'd be "knackered", to use his term), Wayne greeted us in the driveway and helped us with our bags into his gorgeous, palatial home in the hills of the French Riviera. But the welcome didn't stop there - Wayne had a beautiful spread of food and beverage waiting for us... charcuterie, cheeses, breads, pate, wine and beer, all in front of a crackling fire. We simply could not have had a better welcome to France, and all this by an Englishman! We had a big room that opened out onto the garden, with a huge ensuite bathroom of beautiful design. It was very private and quiet. The next morning, Wayne had a breakfast spread ready for us in his sun-drenched dining room, as well as directions to various locations we wanted to visit. The views from both sides of this B+B are spectacular... the Alps to the north, the Mediterranean Sea to the south. Wayne's directions were always spot-on and we found everything was an easy drive... Grasse, Cannes, Antibes, etc. Wayne also personally took us into the lovely village of Vallebonne and Cannes, where, in both places, he essentially is "The King of Kensington" (Canadian TV reference). The very best was when Wayne very graciously took us out into the bay on his speedboat "Beefer" on a drop-dead gorgeous day to see the palatial hotels, French Riviera hillside, and snowcapped Alps beyond from the perspective of the water. By the time we left Wayne's B+B at the end of the weekend, it was like we had spent three days at a good friend's home.

  • The Grasse villa was fantastic! They had everything we needed including a high chair for our baby. All the rooms were decorated very nicely and we especially enjoyed lounging in the brightly colored TV room. We did not have the chance to meet Wayne as he was traveling however we got to meet his son and daughter who were gracious hosts. We'd love to stay here again some time.

  • About: Before I get started about myself I just want to say that our villa has SEVEN BEDROOMS so if you do not see availability it may still well be worth asking anyway. I am a busy 48 year old living with my partner Lucy who is a chef. We LOVE parties and food and are lucky enough to run an catering and events company between the UK and France where we have the most wonderful clients including some really fab celebs. We have five great teenage kids and when we are not living in Cannes we have a home in the hills just twenty minutes in-land. You can check out Red-Radish on the web if you need any cooking or even just some advice on the region! I also love and work on the internet and you can find me on most good social media and up-and-coming sites. Isn't airbnb great btw! Lucy is sports mad and ex-GB windsurfing champion and a pretty darn fine marathon runner too. Our eldest son is in the British ski team. I am naturally fit but more management team than naturally gifted athlete. I am far too clumsy for that! The notes on airbnb suggests I tell you five things I can't live without: I was going to be corny and state the obvious by listing my family but as there are six of them I really couldn't decide which one to upset by leaving out. Lucy does the cooking remember, so on that basis I am going to plump for Travelling, Cannes, my crappy old speed boat moored in Cannes, the internet, good wine, oysters, fresh Pasta, thin Pizzas, Asparagus and all food in general. Oh dear I seem to have got carried away with food again. My favourite movie is Le Grand Bleu by Luc Beeson where the cinematography is just wonderful and really makes me what to get in the car and hit the road. I also adore the car he drives which a little bashed up Fiat 500. I have seen plenty of the world but have a lot more travelling left in me yet. We love boutique and chic including camping glamping and you are far more likely to find us in a secluded camp site than you are a five star hotel. Partly because the kids have spent all our money but mostly because we just like being outside! Lastly I really do know the French Riviera well so please do hit me up if you need any advice (even if you are staying somewhere else) regards things to do, places to see and of course my favourite topic of food. Thanks for reading this far and have a great day!
