Gorgeous room in ultra luxe duplex!

  Sue was a great host and very accommodating, especially given the short notice of the trip. Her two dogs are adorable, if a little shy at first. The apartment is gorgeous and in a great neighborhood, close by to everything you could want or need. I would definitely recommend this place, and would stay again in a heartbeat!

  There aren't words to describe how fortunate my sister and I were for staying with Sue. This felt like a second home and we couldn't have asked for a better place, better location (really clean and safe area) nor a better host! Sue will go out of her way to make you feel at home and help you whenever you need anything, giving you great tips on where to go, what to eat and is very, very easy to deal with. The roof-top is absolutely amazing, a good reason itself to stay here - you can see the Brooklyn Bridge, Empire State and you have a fantastic overlook of entire Downtown! If you wanna feel like a true New Yorker, my best advice is to ask Sue if you can take her two (absolutely adorable, well-behaved) dogs out for a walk, while exploring the neighbourhood, which also happens to be a great way to meet new people. This is the perfect place for those who are looking for a true, great New York experience and I will most certainly come back again! Thank you for everything!

  I was ever appreciative of their flexibility in my arrival time. They were so accommodating-- thank you for that gift! Even giving me a cup of coffee after a short night. :) The shower feels AMAZING, the towels are fabulous, and the bed is comfortable. They were getting the blinds fixed which will help a lot since the sun and traffic noise woke me up a bit earlier than I needed to, but certainly you can't beat the location as I walked the short blocks to Union Square every day for a conference I was attending.

  This was the highlight of my trip to NY. It was the last place I stayed and I was very sad to leave. The hosts were absolutely fantastic, and made me feel welcome straight away. I spent most of my days exploring NY but when I returned each night I felt like I was coming home. Thank you so much!

  Back home from our trip to New York we are still wondering how lucky we were to be the guests of these two lovely people. Our hosts were very, very friendly, warm and extremely easy to get along with. We enjoyed living in their very nice apartment and the bedroom was very comforting after long walks through the city. The best thing of all was that they shared with us (almost) everything which made it very easy to feel at home in New York, like we were living there already for ages!. Without any doubt our best memories: our host's chocolate cookies, their openness and friendliness... and the dogs of course! Thanks a lot!!!!

  The hosts were wonderful -- very warm and generous, providing an extra blanket or pillow, amazing towels -- whatever I needed. I wasn't at the apartment very much, but whenever I was, I felt like family. The roof garden terrace is breathtaking -- I thoroughly enjoyed spending a good part of my evenings up there. One night was a bit chilly, but it was well worth bundling up to hang out up there. The building is beautiful architecture, and very safe and secure, with a helpful doorman always on duty. The two pups are adorable, and very well mannered. I can't say enough how friendly and generous the hosts were. I highly recommend this bnb!

  HOSTS and APARTMENT: Both hosts are busy people, but are generous with information, warmth and generosity. The dogs are adorable. The apartment is modern, new, airy and light. The doormen are friendly. Did not spend enough time on the gorgeous rooftop garden. One hosts loves to cook so she would frequently share food and other yummies. The kitchen is beautiful and is well equipped. ROOM: The room has great daylight, comfy bed, and ample hanging space. The room is located next to the exit/entry so there was no fuss leaving, but it's polite to let the hosts know if you're there or not. One front door lock is a little sticky to turn, so be patient. There is minimal noise from the street which is really surprising because NYC generally emanates noise. BATHROOM: it was a bonus to be given towels to use. The bathroom is clean and modern. Ask how to control the temperature with the mixer. A house rule is to not leave your toiletries there. LOCATION: Gramercy is a clean, quiet, beautiful neighbourhood. I personally loved Gramercy because you can have all that ,yet be minutes from all the action, too. The nearby park is lovely. A huge plus is that you are very close to Union Square which has a great subway hub that will connect you to nearly all of NYC. The Flat Iron District is a few streets away from the apartment. OVERALL: I loved this listing and would love to return there. Highly recommended.
