We loved the "secret garden" feel. Judy and Bill have a beautifully landscaped yard which created a relaxing oasis in the outdoor area. The cottage itself had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing stay at St Johns Beach. We cooked many of our own meals and were able to enjoy some peace and quiet. The area is referred to as "the forgotten coast" and with good reason- we were able to take a long stroll down the sugar sand beach and only passed by 2 groups of people. Very secluded and relaxing, with quaint shops and beachy restaurants nearby to keep us entertained. Judy and Bill were very kind and pleasant hosts, and made us feel at ease and welcome as their guests.

We had an awesome time and couldn't be happier with our stay! The cottage has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. We felt like we were back in Italy during our stay in the cottage. We were able to relax and unwind by the pool and in our comfortable bed. Judy and Bill are wonderful hosts and if we are ever in the area again we would hope to be able to stay here again. Thank you Judy for our wonderful chats and recommendations!

Judith & Bill's Curious Moon Cottage was everything we could hope for. The cottage is so cute & has everything you could need. The art and other decorations made the place so fun. The location is great, we drove about 1 minute down the road and then could park directly by the beach and walk down to it. Bill & Judith were so helpful in working with us and also Bill gave great food recommendations. They were both so nice & friendly. If you are looking for a place near a quiet beach, this is the perfect spot. We absolutely loved sitting in their beautiful backyard every morning to drink our coffee and read our books. This was the best place for a girls get away!

Judith User ProfileJudith is a superhost.

My husband and I are retired from our own Business. We had a antique guesthouse and cafe in the Caribbean Island,Boqueron, Puerto Rico, it was called Wildflowers, Antique Guesthouse & Cafe. We also owned a quest cottage on Little Sodus Bay, Lake Onatario as well as, an Art Gallery and Cafe. I am also a Member of The Board of Directors of The Panhandle Players Community Theater of The Forgotten Coast, Appalachicola, Fl. as well as one of it's Thespians. So here we are in beautiful St. Joe Beach, and loving it..
We chose this area because a friend of mine new that I would really like it here. She was right. It's a little private getaway. what is also great about our area is that the beach is never crowded.
Whats unique about this area is that the white sand beaches are so beautiful, serene, relaxing. It's not overpopulated here, just the opposite. We have everything here, fishing, hunting, sailing, surfing, great seafood and dining. The people in this area are very welcoming and congienal. The rental cottage is quaint, right next to the pool and you are just two short blocks away from the beach. Our area is very quiet and relaxing , an(URL HIDDEN) ou'll feel very much at home.
