Description

SAYA WASI offers you the pleasure of staying in cozy B&B of three spacious private suites, located in the district of San Blas in Cusco, 5 min from Plaza de San Blas, 10 min. from Plaza de Armas, center of all cultural activities.

This small haven will bring you peace of mind in the more rustic area of the imperial Inca city. This place is the meeting point for artists and locals, close to cafes, galleries, museums and banks. You will comfortably walk in the pedestrian streets or stay at home to laze off in the garden and admire the view of the incredible historical center of the city.

All our guests have access to the terrace.

We speak English, French and Spanish to serve you in the planning of you trip to the Cusco region. In addition we can offer you tip for restaurants, cafes, bars or discos, at your convenience.

San Blas is a bohemian district, located behind the main Plaza de Armas of Cusco, where you will find galleries, cafes, restaurants, museums, bars, all to a walking distance.

The most efficient way to come to Saya Wasi San Blas is by taxi, about 15 min from the airport. 30 min. from Poroy train station if you plan to go to Machu Picchu.

The B&B is closed to the main tourist attractions, museums, the main ruins of Cusco, Sacsahuaman, Vitcos/Yurak Rumi and others.

Just as described in the post. Made us breakfast every morning! Had a service like a hotel with a local vibe. The view is definitely worth it! Thanks Denis and Arnold!

Denis' AirBnB is one of a kind. Not only are the views amazing, but we were provided an amazing breakfast in the morning with over 20 offerings to choose from. We arrived very late (and tired) in the evening and Denis was warm, friendly, and made everything really smooth for us. The location was a 10 minute walk from the main square, the place was super clean, and after hiking and camping the Inca Trail for 4 days---the hot shower really hit the spot. SUPER comfy beds and fluffy towels! HIGHLY recommended. We will return!

We had high expectations for this AirBnB based on prior reviews. Denis was prompt with communication and very helpful. Not such an easy place to find but instructions were great. As noted previously the views are stupendous. The room is large, clean and tastefully decorated. Unfortunately a previous occupant had smoked in the room and this was a minor nuisance. On our first night there was no running water from early evening til the early hours of the morning. Both these concerns are not Denis's fault. On the third morning there was only 2 minutes of hot water so only one of us could shower. This was sorted out by our last morning. The hot water pressure is poor. Personally we would not return but if you want stupendous views of Cusco, a very helpful host and can tolerate potential water problems then go for it.

Response from Denis:
Hi Garry. I m so sorry for the inconvenience you went through. We have corrected the smell in the room after you have mentionned it. We had the whole carpet cleaned. As for the pressure of the water it is out of our control as you say, it is due to the current problems lived in Peru. It should be fixed soon. Saludos. Denis

Denis' place was beautiful beyond words! Marleni and her son were very hospitable and welcoming, too. We really loved the place and we're definitely staying again when we find ourselves in Cusco.

We were disappointed with our stay. The host was not present when we checked in and so there was no one that spoke English to help us. Arnold was very helpful and arranged for us a cab in the morning. Water pressure was very poor and was difficult to regulate the temperature. The room smelled strongly of smoke, so I would not recommend for people to are sensitive to this. The view from the room was great.

Response from Denis:
Hi Ian. I m really sorry that your stay was not to your expectations. I m very surprised by your comment about cigarette smell. The house is totally smoke free. I only can suspect that the previous guest had smoked in the room, which is forbidden. Water is rationalized this month due to all the floods occuring in Peru. I do apologize for any inconvenient. Saludos. Hope you have a good journey for the rest of your trip.
