The space

My cabin is a converted haulage truck and is very close to the beach so you can wake up and walk out in seconds to surf, run, walk, or swim. You can watch sunset then walk home to make dinner and sit outside listening to the sounds of Costa Rica. It is away from the main part of town, but a walkable supermarket and cafe are nearby. The cabin is quiet and secure, and in one of the best locations in town. Locals live either side, please be respectful, but hopefully this will enhance your stay.

Interaction with guests

I am not living in Costa Rica anymore, (sigh) but i have a good friend who will be there to welcome you and help you find rentals, trips etc

The neighborhood

Santa T is gorgeous, the beach is divine and you are surrounded by nature 100% of the time. You can surf, swim, tan, party, relax, take yoga lessons, fish, horse ride. Any relaxing holiday activity you can think of you can do it. Plus we have some lovely restaurants with amazing food. Don't miss Koji's Sushi restaurant, and at the top of my road is cafe social.. for your morning coffee and delicious brunch. You will love Santa Teresa.

Getting around

no public transit. Car is best, if not you can rent quad or bike. or use two legs and hitch... depends on your budget :)

Beautiful spot, super chill, super close to beach and the beach cafe roca mar which is fun (especially on Sunday's). We enjoyed walking down the beach to town to get breakfast, takes a while but is fine in the morning, but beyond around ten and before about three thirty you don't want to be walking in the heat. Better to just chill on the day bed or in the hammock. Was set up w everything we needed, two air con rooms was perfect for two friends and could work for two couples who didn't mind being in a small space. Overall great little place, would go there again.

Nothing short of being sweet, Miranda's Beachside Surf Cabina is totally awesome! We had such a wonderful stay in this magical little find just footsteps away from the beach. It is close to everything so you can easily walk (I recommend renting a bicycle for the week!) yet very private giving you a place to retreat from the hustle & bustle of the town & relax from a day of sun and surf. It was absolutely one of the best experiences ever, waking up in the morning to the sound of birds, monkeys and the neighbourhood rooster, with sun streaming in our window. We were able to cook or simply jump on the bikes we had rented and pick up dinner or walk down the little dirt road to Rocca Mar the sweet beach bar. If you want your own unique, special Santa Teresa experience I highly recommend booking this little gem with Miranda!

I am originally from London. I work as a fashion stylist and entrepreneur. I have a five year old son. I lived in Costa rica for a long time, and I am renting out my old beach cabina, converted truck there. Perfect for surfing or staying and relaxing in one of the best beach towns there.
