About this listing
Our colorful two bedroom home is the perfect landing pad for your A2 visit. Enjoy our quintessential Ann Arbor neighborhood: lots of character, a quick walk to lively downtown and a safe, comfortable place to relax. We love it here and so will you.
Our house comfortably sleeps up to five adults (1 bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has 2 twin beds and there is a super comfy couch in the living room, plus an air mattress if you don't want to sleep on the couch). The kitchen is stocked with the essentials: pots, pans, coffee maker (K-cup and drip), blender, food processor, silverware, toaster, electric water kettle, dishwasher, and garbage disposal.
The main bathroom has a large glass and tile shower with an awesome shower head.
There is a small fenced in back yard and newly renovated deck with seating. There is also Weber charcoal grill for your use.
Our guests will have access to the entire house, driveway and yard. You will find an additional half bathroom in the basement, as well as a washer and dryer. There is a 42" flat screen TV and a Roku player with access to Netflix, Pandora, Hulu Plus, WatchESPN, and more. Mike travels frequently for work. Kelly joins Mike on these trips whenever possible, especially if they involve sunny climates or a beach. Both of them love exploring new places. Neither one of us normally writes in the third person.
Lately the work travel has died down, which leaves us itching even more to seek new adventures.
We have recently consolidated housing but could not stand the idea of getting rid of our Ann Arbor bungalow. The quaint west side neighborhood is quiet enough for a retreat, but only 8 blocks (less than 3/4 of a mile) from all the action of downtown A2. It's a great place for our out of town visitors and anytime we need a night out in Ann Arbor. Some of our best trips have been spent in airbnb pads and we are pumped to have a place of our own to share with other travelers.
