Lovely room that has got everything one's need, situated in a great location. Amalia is very friendly and it was easy to communicate with her although I did not speak any Spanish. It is great that guests can use the kitchen. I also believe that the charity organization which the host supports is a beautiful initiative.

Amalia's home was absoluately stunning. From what looks like a brown, wooden door on the street opens up into a beautiful spanish colonial influenced home - lots of plants, beautiful bright colors and a patio with views of the volcano. There are 4 rooms on the upper level with a shared bathroom - our room was cozy, very clean and wifi was great. very centrally located and great value.

I was very impressed by this listing. The space was extremely clean and comfortable. The location was perfect and close walking distance to anything in Antigua. I felt safe walking to and from the house, even late at night. Amalia was a great host and made us feel welcome and at ease. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and refer this listing to friends and family.

We had a nice and relaxed stay at Amalia's house. Clean and comfy beds and you could reach every spot in Antigua by foot. But remind the house is in front of the road, where the chickenbuses go through.

“Start with a Smile project”

We encourage our guests to leave a little space in their suit cases to bring school supplies and toys for kids in need from Guatemala.
We have collected donations for three years in order to carry a little bit of happiness to these children.
So that you are assured that the generosity of your help reaches the children we are committed to helping, we regularly post photos on our project’s website.
I thank you in advance for all your help. Together we can bring happiness to disadvantaged children.
Muchas gracias
