About this listing
This spacious apartment comes with a private kitchen, one separate bedroom, plus beds for four persons, a bathroom and separate toilet.
At walking distance from Central Station and the historical center, this is a great home away from home! ;)
I've lived in this neighbourhood for over twenty years now and actually love the vibrant atmosphere. This apartment is quiet, spacious and offers you a lot of privacy... A 'what you see is what you get' deal.
My shop is at the ground floor, the storage is on the first floor and this apartment is on the second floor. You'll be the only guests in the entire house.
Smoking is absolutely, positively, seriously 100% forbidden!
You'll have a private kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet, a bedroom with double bed and a spacious living room with sleeping accomodations for up to four extra persons.
Interaction with guests
I'll be closeby, but not on the same floor, unless you would need me for something. The apartment has high speed wifi, and my account allows for internet access in the entire city as well, you don't have to be close to the modem to get service. You can always reach me on my mobile phone.
The house is 750 meters from the Central Station and 1,7 kilometers (just over 1 mile) from the cathedral.
If that's too far to walk (it does occasionally rain here, or you might be exhausted from the shopping), metro station Elisabeth is around the corner, offering two direct lines to the old center.
Restaurants serving fresh fish, beer bars and a cinema complex with 19 movie theaters just a few blocks away... Antwerp is an ideal city to explore safely on your own or in a group. Compact, filled with contrasting beauty: old and new, trendy and down to earth, modestly priced and expensive... It's all here!
If you would come by car: There is a parking garage at the end of my street that is safe ànd cheap, it costs only 6€ per 24 hours. it closes between 20:45 and 06:30, though.
If you would come by train: From Central Station it's a ten minute (slow) walk to my place. Exit the station at te side of the Zoo. You'll see a brightly colored RadissonBlu hotel on the other side of the square, with a Chinese gateway next to it. Go through the gateway and when you arrive at the smaller square at the end of that street, turn right.
You are now in the Lange Beeldekensstraat. Continue until you get to number 77 and I'll be there to hand you over the keys and wifi code ;)
If this is your first visit to Antwerpen, I'll gladly give you some pointers on where to go and how to get there.
Metrolines number 2 and 5 around the corner ('Elisabeth' station) offer direct connections with the old center ('Groenplaats').
Bikes can be rented around the corner as well, but everything can be reached on foot.
Other things to note
City maps, wifi code and keys are always handed over by me personally upon your arrival.
*The non-smoking part: it's important*
Keep the noise down after 22:00, as this is a populated area with neighbours right next door.
Pets are allowed, but do inform me about them before you bring them in the house.
Hi, I am Timur ;)
I've been an AirBnB host for little over two years now, first in another location in the same street. After receiving quite a lot of requests for an entire apartment, I now have one available for groups up to four (even six) persons... Hope you'll enjoy staying here!
