Master bedroom with new queen bed available in renovated top floor 2 bedroom suite in heritage house in quiet neighbourhood 3 minutes walk to funky commercial drive. Secluded, peaceful "olde tyme" residential area, with charmingly landscaped heritage homes only a 3 minute walk to restaurants, shops and frequent (8 min) bus service downtown or to Broadway Skytrain station, a confluence of two lines.

You would be sharing this apartment with me, a mature female graphic designer and outdoor adventure enthusiast, who will sleep in the 2nd bedroom. I will be away at work most of the time, but in the evenings we could make supper together, and I'll help you get the most out of your stay. I speak some French and German. You will have full access to the modern kitchen including gas stove and dishwasher.

• Within a 3 to 7 minute walk to theatre, grocery stores, delis, funky galleries, curio stores, restaurants and cafes, community centre
• 5 minute frequent bus ride to Broadway Skytrain station, (12 minute brisk walk) where two skytrain lines meet, connect you to everything, including the airport
• 10 minute bus to downtown (bus comes every 8 minutes)
• Great mountain and park view balcony to hang out on a nice day
• On a bike route, 15 min bike to downtown
• Internet (I let guests use my computer for internet if they don't want to lug theirs)
Comfortable for 1 or 2 adults. Pet and smoke free.

We enjoyed our stay with Kathy very much. She is a relaxed hostess and was very helpful. Her home is in a perfect location...easy access to everything and very comfortable!

Clean, quiet and comfortable place to stay in a very nice neighbourhood not too far from downtown with the Commercial Drive close by. Kathy was very friendly and helpful. We just got to know her briefly but had an interesting talk. We had a good time staying at her place. I can recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Vancouver.

I stayed at Kathy's for 12 days and I really enjoyed! It is a very comfortable house in the style of the early nineties with a nice view on Grouse Montain and located near "The Drive" where you can eat international food, veggie and organic food and feel a special athmosphere ... Although we did not see each other very much Kathy is always ready to help and I completely felt at home. Thanks again.

I chose Kathy's place because of its proximity to SFU where I attended a short course; it was a handy short bus ride. The neighbourhood is quaint and comfortable. The home is exactly as described and comfortable and very clean. Kathy was around for enjoyable conversations a few times, and I had my privacy as needed. The room is great and you don't feel in someone else's pocket because it is the room close to the bathroom that she has set up for guests. Thanks again, Kathy. It was just what I needed.

Kathy is very friendly and interesting to talk to. Her home is nice and the location is great. Nice view of the mountains (hen it wasn't raining). Park across the street. Close to Commercial Drive which is always bustling - lots of shops, restaurants. Excellent bus service.

We only met Kathy briefly as we arrived late at night and left early in the morning. Her home is neat and clean and she was very helpful and friendly.
