Kathy is a lovely lady who made me feel very welcome and was always forthcoming with great advice on what to do and where to go. The room was very comfortable and the location was just perfect for anyone wanting to explore the Commercial Drive neighbourhood and beyond. A great host and a fantastic stay!

i actually loved vancouver! or what i have seen of it, and kathy's house is just in the right place to experience a lively and vibrant neighbourhood, full of the best food and coffee i had in ages great people, of all ages and background such a neat and beautiful house, and the room was confi and just right kathy is very nice and welcoming, full of information about everything, and so open to other people's stories if i manage to go back there, there is no other place i want to be

It was great to spend the two days in Kathy's house. We have seen Vancouver and prepared us for our trip in thy Rocky Mountains.

I could not have chosen a more perfect place to stay I loved Kathy's apartment,and staying with Kathy was like staying with my own sister. She is a very likeable person with a great giggle ! The neighbourhood was so easy to get around and more importantly I felt very safe and secure. I only wish I could have stayed another month

We enjoyed our stay at Kathy's. The accommodation was in a nice, quiet street, but centrally located and close to buses, the sky train, cafes and restaurants. Kathy was a friendly and helpful host, and we look forward to staying in touch through her hiking group.

Even though I was out most of the time, Kathy was a great host and provided a clean and beautiful place. It's a great location, accessible and close to bus routes that will take you anywhere in Vancouver. I would definitely stay at her place again.

We found Kathy's house very comfortable; we have had everything we needed. There is a great and quiet neighbourhood; the location is close to public transportation. We certainly will consider Kathy's place for the next occasion.

Kathy is the best host you could ever ask for. She is full of helpful information and knows the area very well. The room is very comfortable and her breakfast table has a nice view of the mountains. It is very close to the happening commercial drive where there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, pubs, galleries e.t.c. Only a short bus ride to get to downtown Vancouver. We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 week stay and for the price would highly recommend this over a hostel or hotel. Thanks Kathy!

MY WIFE AND I STAYED WITH KATHY FOR 5DAYS AND NIGHTS AND HAD A GREAT TIME THERE, KATHY WAS VERY HELPFUL IN TELLING US HOW TO GET FROM ONE PLACE TO ANOTHER, WE HAD A LOVELY BED, SHARED A BATHROOM, BUT NOT A PROBLEM,USED HER T.V. AND SHE LET US USE HER COMPUTER SO WE COULD KEEP IN TOUCH WITH OUR FAMILY, HAVE BREAKFAST AND TEA AT OUR LEISURE. WE FOUND KATHY THAT NICE OF PERSON WE EVEN INVITED HER TO COME TO N.Z. FOR A HOLIDAY AND STAY WITH US. CHEERS KATHY,.........MERV AND PAT.

We had a great time staying at Kathy's. Her home is bright and airy and rich in Heritage character. Our room was nicely appointed and cozy --- especially enjoyed the comfy and quiet night's sleep, as we returned back each night very tired after full days of walking and exploring. Kathy was a welcoming and helpful host and we enjoyed several nice chats with her. The location can't be beat --- a twelve minute walk to the Skytrain, and a shorter walk to the fabulously diverse and eclectic Commercial Drive. If you seek a Vancouver experience that is authentic, interesting, comfortable --- and an alternative to chain hotels and highrises --- consider Kathy's warm hospitality. When we return to Vancouver, we certainly will.
