Beautiful Apartment in Center Ams

  Disappointed! I organized a trip to AMS with two girlfriends of mine and came across Verona’s flat which looks beautiful on the pictures. In fact, we were all disappointed. Pictures on the profile were very well done. The flat was not very clean at all. My bed sheet hat a greasy stain too. The bathroom/toilet did not have a sink in it, so we had to wash our hands in the kitchen. No bathroom matt was on the floor. Saturday afternoon we quickly went back to the flat when it knocked on the door. Verona and her boyfriend were in front of the door welcoming us and handing us over some Caramel Wafers. They suggested to us that we should go for a boat ride. Very nice we thought, strange though, as normally people are out on a Saturday afternoon. Both went to the upstairs flat, we got ready and left. Walking down the street we all thought that this encounter was weird. So we waited for a while and decided to go back. No surprise really, both Victoria and her boyfriend were in our flat and just opened the door to come out!!! Both obviously did not expect us to come back. They might have heard us getting into the downstairs door. They did not really knew what to say and mumbled something. Obviously very surprised by us being back. (Apparently they put some wafers into the flat) We just looked at each other – in shock, as we could not believe what happened. They left. We felt very disappointed and betrayed. Taken for a ride. Also, not knowing if they have gone through our stuff. The positive thing was that Verona was very flexible with the check-in. We were there at approx. 08:45. Her boyfriend welcomed us, gave us the key and promised to come back to clean the flat as it has not been done before. In addition, Verona has given us lots of insider tips of Amsterdam, which was great. Shame this happened - We would not go back! I leave it up to your imagination what happens in that flat when tourists are supposed to be out!

  The Apartment is in the center of Amsterdam so you can walk to many interesting places. The Apartment is in good condition and it is exactly as it is described. You live among typical Amsterdam houses and flats. This is the real Amsterdam feeling. Verona is a warm and lovely host. She helps whenever she can and she has tons of useful informations about Amsterdam. And thank you again for the nice birthday present!!! I want to come back soon!!!

  Verona was a fantastic host. She was right on time to meet us and had everything set up for a perfect stay including great tips about the local area and things to do. The apartment is just like the pictures. It is small but even with four people we weren't too crowded. It is perfectly located close to the Centraal train station and everything you want to see in downtown Amsterdam. Great stay!

  We returned to the apartment after five days in France, it was a great way to end our vacation. Verona is a charming host. We will always have great memories of our trip.
