Private Entrance Basement w/ Bath

  I'm going to be honest here, even though it would be easier to not leave a review at all. When I arrived I didn't have much time to look around, I dropped off my baggage and came back later to realize just how dirty the "private" room and adjoining bathroom was. The floor had tons of dust bunnies and the bed comforter smelled weird, somewhat like a smoker used it, but a scent that wasn't quite that. I don't know how else to describe it, yes, the towels were clean and there was a mini fridge and microwave and cups to drink. And that was nice, even though there was a soap bar stuck to the bottom of the shower and used soap in the bathroom I had brought my own so I tried to ignore it. The faucet was rather gross, it had mildew along with hair and stuff, but the lack of cleanliness wasn't what bothered me the most. The so called "private" room has a 1 to 1 1/2 inch gap at the bottom of the door adjoining another room, which every sound from that room comes into yours. The person in the other room snored horribly, sleep talked, as well as made horrible gasping sounds. I couldn't sleep at all the first night. The second night I stayed I took some allergy medication just so I could get to sleep.

  i enjoyed to stay her place. she has everything you need. like towels, fredge, tv etc. unfortunately, i couldnt get a chance to see her, but she was really responsible. i stayed with my bf. she prepared extra air bed :)

  Kerry's house was comfortable and there are nothing about concerning :) I really enjoyed staying her house!! ;D

  Owner met me at the T to do the key exchange so I wouldn't have to go out of my way. Good cheap room.

  Kerry was very accommodating. She told me what was nearby and even let me keep my luggage around till the afternoon. The room itself was fairly decent and had everything I needed - mini fridge, microwave, bed and night stand, personal bathroom with shower and soap.

  The place was just as described. Even though I did not meet kerry, she had already left a note with the keys when I arrived. And she was very flexible with the check in and out process as well. Overall had a very nice and comfortable stay.

  The place is in a nice neighborhood, Kate was very diligent and supportive along the process, got more appliances for the room and let us leave our bags a little longer. Great experience!

  I stayed at the basement suite for couple of days. It's convenient (very close to MIT and Harvard). The suite was clean, private, and the host was really helpful.
