  This apartment was perfect for us. We have two boys aged 4 and 6 who enjoyed the space and could be put to bed downstairs in the evening and not be disturbed by us watching TV upstairs. The location suited us too as we brought their scooters with us and they regularly scooted along the riverside promenade. They used the pool most days too. It's a decent size lap pool and we didn't ever need to share it. The only thing is that the concierge required a photo ID to give us a fob. We only had passports with us and were uncomfortable with it being tossed into an unsecured drawer so didn't leave it with him the hole stay. Instead we had to to-and-fro for every pool trip. I'd suggest taking a low value photo ID for this purpose. We enjoyed our breakfasts at the restaurant attached to the Sheraton (practically next door) and the occasional evening meal at Houlihan's (across the road). We had less success trying to order in. The pizza place wanted a phone number but with no landline in the apartment and their process unable accommodate our UK mobile, we had to go and order/fetch it ourselves. We didn't try any other restaurants for food delivery after this experience. Travel to Manhattan was easy. Any bus that stops across the road will take you to the Port Authority Bus Station (which is the next stop), from there you can easily transfer to the subway system. We got a great value Metrocard, valid for a week ($29 for adults, children didn't need them). There's a ferry stop next to the apartment, however this is more expensive and the stop on the other side of the Hudson is not so conveniently located. (Great for the Intrepid Air and Space Museum and the Jacob Javits Convention Center). Tickets for both bus and ferry can be purchased at the deli shop attached to the apartment complex. We got our Metrocard at a news stand at the Port Authority Bus Station. We had a fantastic holiday. It was our second trip to NY and would recommend staying here rather than a mid-town hotel, especially with kids. The only thing we'd do differently about the whole trip would be to NOT go up the Empire State Building and go up the Chrysler building instead which, of course, has nothing to do with this fab apartment!

  We loved our time in NYC. This place has the best views of the city from NJ. Easy to get to and from time square. Would recommend this place to anyone.

  Wir waren vom (phone number hidden) zu 4 in Kat's Appartement. Es hat alles reibungslos geklapt, von der Schlüsselübergabe beim Check-In bis zum Check-Out. Die Wohnung präsentiert sich so wie sie auf den Bildern dargestellt wird. Die Einrichtung befindet sich in einem guten und sauberen Zustand.Bettwäsche und Frottewäsche ist vorhanden. Die Betten sind gut und die beiden Badezimmer mit Toilette,Badewanne und Dusche sowie die Einzeltoilette mit Waschmaschine und Trockner sind ebenfalls in einem sehr guten Zustand. Die Küche wurde von uns nicht benützt, sie ist aber voll ausgerüstet, was für einen längeren Aufenthalt sicher ein grosser Vorteil ist.Die Aussicht auf das Zentrum von NYC über den Hudsen ist phantastisch vor allem Abends. Die Verkehrslage ist sehr gut, es halten 3 Busse vor der Anlage, wovon die Linie 158 die beste ist. Die Fahrzeit beträgt ausserhalb der Rush Hour 12 min( ansonsten infolge Stau bis 30 min) ins Zentrum wo sich der Busterminel sowie eine grosse U-Bahnstation befindet. Ebenso eine Ticketverkaufsstelle für die Hop-On Hop-Off Bustouren. Es befinden sich 2 Restaurants sowie Schnellimbislockale und ein kleiner Shop in unmittelbarer Umgebung, Supermarkt oder Alkoholshop ist keiner in der nähe vorhanden. Wir waren 2 mal bei Ruth's Steakhouse vis a vis, sehr gut aber nicht gerade günstig (350 $FÜR 4 Personen mit guten Wein etc.) Im weiteren befindet sich auch eine Anlegestelle für die Fähre gleich neben dem Gebäude, sie ist schnell aber ist relativ teuer 9$ p.P. und einfacher Fahrt, Bus 2.70$ p.P. Wir können das Appartement von Kat sehr empfehlen und werden es bei einem längeren NY Aufenthalt sicher wieder benützen. Einziger Nachteil ist, dass man nich in Manhatten ist und so nich schnell am Mittag oder vor dem Nachtessen noch die Wohnung benützen kann um zu Duschen und sich um zu ziehen ausser man fährt jedesmal wieder auf die andere Flussseite nach Weehawken und vierlert somit Zeit vorallem während des Rush Hour.   My family stayed at 600 Harbor Blvd while I was running the NYC marathon. The travel time into NYC was exactly as described as were the pictures of the accommodation. Whenever I had any questions the host was very easy to contact. Great value for a big party going to NYC!

  L'appartement est vraiment superbe et fidèle aux photos publiées, la vue est magnifique, surtout la nuit, vous pouvez y aller sans crainte il n'y a pas d'arnaques ! de plus vu que c'est une residence vous pourrer jouir de la salle de sport et de la piscine couverte avec vue ! comme bon vous semble. Une reception reste ouverte 24h/24h avec quelqu'un qui saura repondre a vos questions en cas de galères. Pour le reste un arret de bus est en bas de l'appartement qui vous apportera à deux pas de times square en un rien de temps (sauf heures de pointe !), seul bemol, étant donnée que ce sont les bus du New Jersey, il ne faut pas rater le dernier qui part de New York à 22h, sinon un embarquadère pour ferry est tout à côté qui vous ferra traverser l'hudson en un clin d'oeil et qui marche jusqu'à 23h30 si j'ai bon souvenir, verifiez quand même au préalable. Kat pour ça part est très discrète, nous avons recupéré les clés à la reception, elle m'a juste appelé pour nôtre départ et fixé une heure pour libéré les lieux. En gros cet appartement est un bon compromis pour les gens qui veulent visiter New York en restant près de Manhattan en pouvant dormir au calme.

  El apartamento está muy bien. Realmente es como aparece en las fotografias. La zona es tranquila y se llega a Manhattan en 10 ó 15 minutos en autobús. Lo único que puedo criticarle es que hemos ido 3 parejas y aunque pone que es para 7 personas las habitaciones de matrimonio estan bien pero la de estudio la cama que tiene es individual, y en el sofá tampoco pueden dormir 2 personas. Con respecto a Kat , no puedo decir mucho ya que no he tenido el gusto de conocerla. Todo lo arreglamos con nuestra hoja de pago y con el portero de la urbanización. El cual tampoco estaba informado de nuestra llegada para que nos entregaran las llaves y tuvieron que contactar con Kat desde allí, pero no hubo problema. Si tuviera un próximo viaje a N.   i stayed at Kat's place with my family for 7 days and everything went great. the view is amazing. the kitchen and the living room were very comfortable for us. the rooms are spacey ... we went by the bus to Manhattan every day with no problems. no need to take the ferry (costs more money and dont get you as closed to the subway as the bus) we really enjoyed our stay.

  Location, location, location.... Excellent place, 2 full size bed room, one small room and a sofa bed in the living room... 2 1/2 bathroom...Very confortable for 6 adults... 8 minutes to time square (bus 158) Resaturant and bar nearby on the jersey side, convinience store and liquor store 5 minutes away in car... Excellent service from Kat, quick answer to all email and txt.. Would go back anytime

  We found Kat's apartment exactly as the ;photo showed. It is small, clean and very conveniently located with a crosstown bus stop directly opposite. But we also found it easy to walk to many of the main areas and eat very well at eateries within a block or two of the apartment. We found Kat and her husband very helpful, attending to any of our requirments promptly and pleasantly. The only drawback was the noise coming from upstairs' heavy "bootsteps" each morning at 6:45am and later agan at night. However we would be very happy this apartrment and Katerina .

  AWESOME! Book it! You couldn't stay in a nicer place or be dealing with a nicer host! Kat is very prompt in responding to messages or emails and she is most helpful and will try and accommodate your itinerary. The flat itself is in a brilliant location - with a deli and a diner on the corners 49thSt / 1stAve. It is very well equipped - Kat has really thought about her guests needs whilst travelling and has some city guides and info, a hairdryer, wi-fi, super comfy bed, soft fluffy towels, etc ready for you - really it is a HOME FROM HOME! It is also surprisingly quiet considering it is in the town that never sleeps. All in all: The perfect place for your New York adventures! Thank you Kat!

  We rented Kats place in total 9 days in april 2012. The place is fantastic and we had a lovely time. Even if the area is not the biggest hot spot in NY, it gives you a unique look in how the locals live. I will recommend this place without a doubt. Kat was very helpful and did more than expected for us when one of my bag was late arrived from my transfer. I give her my best recommandations.

  Two adults and a teenager shared this great little studio for a spring break Manhattan adventure - we loved it! It is in a quiet upscale neighborhood, lots of great eating options all around (Ess-a-bagel for breakfast!), and we could walk to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, etc. Walked home after Broadway shows several evenings. Two blocks to the subway and the 6 train to the village, Brooklyn Bridge, or museum mile. The place was exactly as pictured, Kat was friendly and helpful, and it was a great home base for our explorations. Highly recommended!

  Visiting the US from England with 2 children this was my first AirBnB stay so was a bit apprehensive. Need not have worried, Kat was lovely and was there on our arrival and was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, Great location, nice, safe neighbourhood, well located for the sights of Manhattan. Subway, banks, supermarket, restaurants are all nearby. We walked to Rockefeller centre, Central Park etc. Apartment was just like the pictures and had everything we needed TV, wifi, iron, kitchen with appliances etc. Nice view of UN building and Trump World Tower from window. We enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended.

  If you are looking for a cosy apartment in a white neighborhood then this is not the place for you BUT if you are looking for a comfortable, renovated new apartment with a great great shower and very convenient location (only 2 blocks down to the metro and 7 minute walk to Central Park ) within Latino and african-american communities then this is definitely the place to go. Staying in Kat's apartment made our experience memorable as we felt we were really living in a neighborhood of NYC, also there are many places to go eat and small shops. Very convenient, clean&new.

  Kat was awesome. We were in communication before we even arrived and we felt very reassured that we knew exactly where to go and when to meet her. As we were staying for a long period of time, she very kindly upgraded us to another apartment that had a washer and dryer. It was in a better location and was perfect for two people. The only downside (some might not even think it's a downside) was that as the apartment was on the 3rd floor, all the heat from the building essentially was in our apartment so in the dead of winter we slept with the window open. Again, not the worst thing that could have happened! The apartment also had a dishwasher and a well equipped kitchen (with new appliances) so it made cooking a great option. The apartment was very clean, and had everything we could have wanted for two weeks. The apartment was in a great location (E50th/2nd ave) which gave us very easy options of public transport (buses, subways etc). I would have no hesitation staying with Kat again and look forward to referring my friends and family on.

  Nice flat, with wifi, TV, all you need. Very quiet which is great for the night :-) A lot of supermarket around the flat. Well located. I clearly recommand it.
