Looking for an affordable & cozy apartment rental in Paris? I rent my apartment in Montmartre to visitors for a minimum of 3 nights at a time. The apartment is a one bedroom with a separate kitchen/ dining space (not a studio!). It features a nice bedroom with two windows looking out onto a quaint, quiet, street that ends in a stairway on one side. The view will remind you of the little streets in the movie, Amelie!

The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven (includes a clothes washing machine) and includes a window overlooking a nice plant-filled courtyard and a seating area with a table and a set of chairs. There are a couple extra chairs available in case you want to invite friends over for dinner :) There is also a bathroom with a shower (with good water pressure), hairdryer, and hair straightener available. I live in the apartment, so it has more amenities than a stale, rental property (Books! Free food/ feel free to eat anything in my kitchen!), but it is not a hotel (though clean sheets are provided). If you want me to hire a cleaning service to fix up the place before your stay, you can pay extra for this amenity.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor (American 3rd floor) of my building. The bedroom has a new large comfortable full bed (140cm x 190 cm) and an available single air mattress, as well as a desk, easy chairs, an iron, and nightstand. Towels and sheets are provided. The apartment sleeps two confortably, and a third person can sleep on the air mattress for no additional fee.

The nightly rate includes charges, water, and heating, wireless internet access, and both domestic and international (EU + North America) land line calls from my home phone. Ask me about discounts for weeklong stays.

The neighborhood is safe and full of cute local shops, restaurants, and low key indie bars. The apartment is a five minute walk from the famous Sacred Heart Basilica (Le Sacre Coeur). 25 minute metro ride to the Champs Elysees, 30 minute ride to the Eiffel tower.

The nearest metro station is Lamarck-Caulaincourt (line 12), however it is also just a short walk away from the line 4 (15 minutes to the Marais/center) and the line 13. It's on the north side of Montmartre, which is cozy and less touristy than the southern side, but just as accessible.

  • Everything was great. Really good location, can get anywhere quickly on the metro. Good grocery stores, cafes and anything else you would need very close by.

  • Kathy's apartment is in great location, very close to metro. The apartment is very cute and comfortable. We would love to come back and stay here again.

  • Terrific location. We visited Montmartre for ice cream nightly. We felt safe and had plenty of room for three. Neat freaks may wish for a more tidy place, but all the pluses trump this!

  • This is a great apartment in a great location of the city. The neighborhood is wonderful, covered with cafes and close to the metro to get anywhere in no time. This location is not filled with tourist and gives you the opportunity to experience the people and the city at its best. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

  • This is an essential experience for any Parisian vacation! The location of Kasia's apartment is great! It is within walking distance of cute cafes, restaurants, boulangeries, everything you could want. It is not the closest to the traditional tourist attractions, but presents an opportunity to expereince daily life. The space is adequate for two people, any more may be a squeeze. The apartment is definitely lived-in so make sure you keep track of your belongings.

  • kathy's apartment was really good for the 2 of us. we got reliable information from kathy right before our stay and enjoyed the feeling of living there and not just being a tourist in an ordinary hotel. in the kitchen you find most stuff you need, just try to bring your own towels. there were enough supermarkets and small shops closeby to buy food, even during easter holidays.

  • Kasia's apartment was wonderful and we will definitely stay here again when we come back to Paris. The area is lovely and quiet and there are nice shops/cafes to explore. The supermarket/bakery and metro station are all within 5 mins of the apartment. The apartment itself is perfect for 2 people and had great heating/a washing machine and internet access. Kasia was also really helpful when we had some booking troubles and she sorted everything out for us. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kasia's apartment.

  • PROS: Nice neighborhood, steps away from the center of Montmartre. Good access to metro and easy to locate. Good layout in the apartment with a separate kitchen/eating area. Washing machine and cleaning supplies in the apartment. Kathy was quick to respond and is an extremely responsible host. CONS: We had problems with the cleanliness and finding sheets on the first day, but Kathy handeled any problems with the apartment once she was made aware of them. Even though the host was not really at fault for any issues we had, she went through extra effort to ensure that we were satisfied with the stay. Tips: Check out the restaurant directly on the right when you walk up the stairs. They have very good daily lunch menus for 10-15EUR, and illy coffee to take away. Perhaps pack sheets and towels if you have extra space in your luggage. Overall we had a nice stay, we loved the area and the people we met in the neighborhood. The first day was a bit stressful as we had to get the apartment in order, but thankfully we had five nights in Paris - so one lost day was not a huge deal for us. Again, Kathy is very responsible and easy to communicate with, and the apartment is definitely great value for money in terms of location and comfort.

  • PROS: nice apartment, there was everything we needed, in a beautiful neighborhood, with cafè and restaurants, CONS: Kasia should take care differently of the guests transition, otherwise it happens to fall in the error to judge people without knowing facts and based on someone's else opinion.

  • Kasia's place was great. Great location and nice apartment. It was wonderful to come back to at the end of a day exploring Paris. We were there at the beginning of January, and although it was cold outside, the apartment was nice and warm and cozy. It was everything we wanted it to be- Thanks Kasia!

  • About: I'm an American artist and teacher from Chicago, living and working in Paris. I've lived in several cities in the US, France, and Poland, and I've been in my current apartment for the last few years! I'm super excited to be living in a cozy area, full of cute cafés, shops, and places to hang out. I'm happy to share my place with visitors and to recommend local places to check out while they're here. I generally rent out my entire apartment when I go out of town so that guests can have plenty of privacy and easy access to Montmartre, the most beautiful neighborhood in Paris!
