THE OWL'S NEST - Vatican City

Overall this apartment was fine for the price. It was in a good location with convenient access to public transportation. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have a full kitchen. Our major complaint was that we did not have toilet paper or hand soap in the bathroom the entire time we were there and Emmanuele did not respond to our phone calls inquiring about this. The bathroom could've been a bit cleaner as well. Overall we were satisfied for the price we paid.

good location 10 mis walking from metro; big room with cool floor, nice when its hot outside; window facing street so a bit noisy when you open it, otherwise well insulating traffic noise. Superb kitchen even with special pancakes frying pan and recipes how to make them:) Hot shower, wi-fi all that you can need in the "nest". Nice place i would recommend.

We have a very nice time staying in Rome for a week. Emanuele's apartment was great; good location, very clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. Emanuele was a very nice host, friendly, polite and hepful. If we are back in Rome we would stay at this B&B again and we highly recommend it to anybody else who is planning to visit this fabulous city!

A pochi passi dalla metropolitana (10 minuti) e da San Pietro. Raggiungibile anche in tarda serata da mezzi pubblici. Ideale per chi va a Roma per turismo e ha bisogno di un posto dove alloggiare abbastanza in centro. Emanuele è davvero molto gentile e disponibile!

The room was in a very good position. t was very close to St Peters, the Vatican and the Metro to get to the other sights. The room and amenites were good and Emanuele was helpful.

was in rome w my girlfriend for 6 days during Easter time. rome is a great city and emanuele's spot a great place to stay! Pretty comfortable appt w a big bedroom and nice bathroom & kitchen... Also close to one of the central metro stations of rome. Emanuele is a cool guy! He helped us to move around rome by answering all our questions and provided us w a travel guide. Also bought for us everything we needed for breakfast.. Highly recommended!

The apartment is very nice, with a very beautiful decoration and also very clean. Emmanuelle is a nice guy and kindly picked us up at the subway station. He does not stay at the flat, so you should ask everything you need from him at this moment. It was pretty easy to go from Emannuale's spot to the main touristic attractions, you can go either by bus (the bus station is about 5 min walk from the building) or by metro (about 25-30 min walk). It is also relatively close to the Vatican City (about 35 min walk). To go other places you must take a metro/bus. Since the metro stops at 21 h you should make sure you know exactly where to take the bus at the city centre, otherwise you will have to walk a great deal. Also, you should ask him about the inclusion of the breakfest, he will not remind you about that.

Emanuele picked us up from the termini station, and once at the BnB he gave us some ideas for viewing Rome. The bed was comfy and the metro station was around the corner. However we never recieved our included breakfast as noted on his listing and the refridgerator had alot of spoiled food in it and the kitchen smelled of fish, the bathroom carpets looked like they hadnt been washed in months and there were personal toiletry remnants from many visitors along with many old musty towels hanging. All in all we enjoyed our stay.. if your looking for a place to just sleep for a night or two and arent overly picky on cleanliness then this would be perfect place for you Thank you Emanuele for hosting us in Rome - good luck with your bed and breakfast.

Emanuele was a great host. He was very gracious and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I would recommend the owl's nest to anyone in a heartbeat- you will not be disappointed! great place, great host, great location!

We stayed at B & B Angelico from 7 to 18 March with my friend. We were easily reached from Termini station to Ottaviano by metro, and there Emanuele met us. Apartments located in the center of the city, in 15 minute walk to the Vatican (or 5-7 min. by bus) The rooms are very comfortable, there are all what you need, the area is quiet and calm. The owner, Emanuele is very hospitable and friendly. Nearby the appartments is a supermarket and a market where you can buy everything you need. On the subway is convenient to reach all the main attractions of the Eternal City. We are recommended you all stay here!! Emanuele, un'altra volta grazie mille per tutto!!! you're really a good guy! We had an amazing time staying at Emanuele's B&B. He was so kind and very informative. The room was perfect the apartment had everything we needed. Close enough to the all the touris spots and the metro but far enough to enjoy a relaxing night after a busy day. I would recommend this room to anyone! Can't wait to go back.

We had a wonderful 10 days stay at Emanele's B&B. All was clean and perfectly equiped. We were able to use every commodity the way we wanted to and enjoy a real liberty, feeling almost like home. Living and studying in Rome, I was very happy to discover a new area of the eternal city. The place is suprisingly well connected to the center. In 5 min by Tram you can reach piazza del Popolo. Another pleasant point is that the area is not a touristic one, so you can relax and enjoy real roman life through typical restaurants and gelateria for e.g where you'll have the likeable pleasure to find menu not translated and not made for tourists. To sum up I warmly recommand Emanuele's B&B, and thank him for his disponibility and his warm welcome.

It was a lovely place to stay! the room we got was spacious and had a piano too! A very helpful and informative host! Unfortunately the shower drainage clogged up all the time and the location of his house is slightly far from the closest station.

Traveled with my sister and we picked this place because of fantastic sea view from the roof. And in reality view is even better there. Emanuele was very nice to us, picked up us from thrain stantions a few times and kindly showed around. Tea, coffee, snack supplies.... everything was there. The only problem - no internet. but on another hand it was not a problem - we used to walk to a cafe with free wifi and nice capuchinos (cup of capuchino there was just 60 euro cents) We've enjoyed our stay in the place in Anzio and a night in Rome. Wish we had more time to spand in Italy. During our week we,ve managed to see all famous places in Rome, Florence and even got sun tanned in Anzio. Sea was cold to swim, but it was pleasant to walk down on beach anyway, ah and blooming roses ...Fruits and vegetables are not expensive there and everything is fresh, natural (as my american friends would say 100% organic) We had really good time and I really want to visit Italy again.

We spent 2 nights at Emanuele's place. Flat was comfortable and in convenient location. Emanuele was very kind to pick us up form the bus station, show around in the area and give us a few helpful advices about Rome. Thanks a lot!!!

Emanuele was very nice and flexible. We stayed in a different place than we originally booked, but it worked out better for us. The place was in an excellent location, and very clean. Emanuele was a great host and picked us up from the train station. The price for the flat was really great and very fair for Rome. Overall the best Air b and b experience we have had!

We had a great stay at The Porcupine, awesome location! Really easy to get into the city. And cute local shops and restaurants down the street. Emanuelle is a lovely host, gives you a good explanation of how to get around and the best places to go. Would definitely go back :)

Eamanuele was a fantastic host! He made sure we had everything we needed and gave us loads of (extremely useful) information about the area, where to visit etc. Especially glad we paid attention to his restaurant suggestions & we have been recommending his apartment to friends and family since returning home. Awesome place and excellent host!! Without any doubt I would stay there again. The bed is comfortable and the rooms and bathroom are nice, the house is in walking distance from the train station, there are pizza places close to it, in case you get hungry when you are home. In the morning there is a small place in where you can get breakfast, a good one, before you start walking. Enjoy Rome, it is awesome and better if Emanuele has time and can show you around or give you hints.
