Rhinecliff Guest House

I came up to this area from California to visit our daughter at Bard College. I was so happy on arrival to see that the photograph on the website was true to it's picture. The bed was great. Slept wonderfully and awoke to a beautiful view, the sound of a train whistle, rooster crows and May breezes. Everything one needs is here! I'll be back with my husband.

Angela's place was a great place to get away from the city. The place itself was really clean, and comfortable. Everything was really great, including the nice, fully stocked, breakfast bar. The property is really serene and pretty. Angela provided a couple of bikes, and the bike ride into town was really easy and enjoyable. Overall it was a really great getaway. I completely recommend it.

Angela's rental was really great!!!! It was beautiful and cozy. Angela was incredibly sweet and helpful and steered us towards fun things to do around Rhinebeck. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend the Rhinecliff Guest House! :) Vivienne & Phil

This Rhinecliff guest house is a beautiful getaway. My wife and I had a delightful and peaceful stay. Angela is a wonderful host, with great knowledge of the town and its wonders. The studio is spacious, quiet, private, and magical: Everything one desires in a modern BnB. One trip is not enough. If you stay, my advice is to get up very early and take a walk through the Rhinecliff town center. It's worth it.

The Rhinecliff Guest House was perfect for me for the few days getaway I wanted. Clean, simple, spacious, and comfortable. Lots of natural light as it was situated on top of a large garage and had windows on every wall. The King-size bed was very comfortable and the space had everything I needed - small kitchen area with dorm fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Angela leave milk, juice and yogurt in the fridge and cereals and fruit on the counter area with dishes, glasses and utensils. Nice little sitting area, great bathroom, and a table with 2 chairs. I just wanted to relax by myself and get some reading/work done. So it was great to have wifi. Lots of 3-pronged outlets too. The surrounding farmlands were beautiful and I enjoyed walking around the towns of Rhinebeck and Red Hook. Hope to go back one of these days.

We agree with all the reviews we read before booking. It's a lovely guest house, with everything you need. Eric and Angela were perfect hosts, helpful and gave us good tips about the area + they lent us bikes to get around easy. Rhinecliff is a very pretty little town and so easy to get to on the train and Rhinebeck had nice shops, restaurants and cafe. Personally my favorite was the peace and quite and being able to see the stars at night!

Angela was awesome! The Guest Room was awesome. The perfect size and it was nice and quiet. The whole experience was nice and relaxing. The only suggestion that I would give for people traveling to Rhinecliff is that it is a Hamlet town of Rhinebeck, and there are no major stores/places to eat close by. So, if you don't bring your car, be prepared for that. Rhinebeck is only a couple miles away, but not really a type of distance that you would walk since it's on a highway. Not very safe to walk anyway since it's a curvy highway. Otherwise it was wonderful! Angela offered to take me into Rhinebeck if I ever needed it, but I was taken of.

This was a great first experience with Airbnb! The room was quite large - more like a studio apartment really! It has it's own entrance, and is located right above the detached garage. Simply, but tastefully decorated. Bathroom is clean, with a shower stall, one sink vanity and toilet. No television, but free wireless internet is included. Angela was a great host - she provides milk, juice, yogurt, cereal/granola, tea, coffee, oatmeal packets, fresh fruit and utensils/plates all in the room. There's a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and electric water kettle as well. All you have to do is leave your dirty utensils/plates on Angela's porch, and she was kind enough to wash them all for you! Other than that, Angela let us kinda keep to ourselves - which my husband and I liked. It felt like we were in a private room/apartment. The location was fine - it's about a 4 or 5 minute drive to the center of Rhinebeck (which is a really lovely town). It's also located near the Rhinecliff train station and you can hear the trains as they go by. Just beware that the house is on a large field(farm?), and you may be woken up in the early morning by roosters crowing or cows mooing! ;-)

Lovely, private, cozy, and incredibly clean guest house with very welcoming and friendly hosts! I look forward to returning soon!

The room is beautiful and spacious. I hope to return again and spend more time to explore the area around it as well. The food ws wonderful and everything connected with the accomodation OUTSTANDING!

I stayed here in June 2011. The guest house is very private, new and really comfortable - just the way I prefer to travel! Angela and Eric made me feel right at home, were extremely hospitable and helpful in pointing out the sites in and around Rhinecliff. I really want to thank them for making my stay so pleasant and relaxing - I couldn't ask for a better time away from the city.
