-BUSY -- listed as the Tenderloin/ Little Saigon/ Civic Center neighborhood has a long history with a dense and diverse population, and if you are not crazy about noise and activity this might not be the place for you. Be prepared to walk a bit (taxis are easy to get a couple blocks up), but it's in the flat lands and most needs are within 4 blocks.
Parking:
Very nice, secure garage 1 block away for $7/day. You will NOT beat that price downtown. Everything else is metered.
The Host:
-Twenty something grad student who's lived in SF for 8 years. I've been hosting with my other apartment since Jan. 2010 and have loved the opportunity to share my space and knowledge about this city with other travelers :).
