Amalfi Coast tranquil countryside

The apartment was difficult to reach, but the biggest letdown was dog hair all over the apartment and dog feces on the small patio, which was tracked inside by the dogs. The host left the apartment and the dogs after our first night, and we were were awakened several times on the next two nights by the barking dogs. It was a shame because Dianne was a friendly host with a wealth of knowledge and resources about the area.

Although we personally had somewhat of a difficult time getting to Dianne's place (advice: take the train to get to her place, and get there before night), it was extremely worth it! Out of all the airbnb places we stayed on our European trip, this one had the most gorgeous and "rustic" views. Dianne was a gracious and affable host. She was very informative about the Amalfi coast area and recommended us perhaps the best seafood pasta we've ever had in Vietri. Overall, we would absolutely recommend any one and every one to stay at her place, particularly if you're planning on staying in the Amalfi Coast area for several days.

Dianne's room does offer a great view of the surrounding hills, and is a short drive back down to the coastal towns. The experience felt like you were a welcome guest in someone's home, rather than a renter of a private apartment, and the amenities and common spaces certainly had a 'shared' feeling to them. Dianne's dogs are all friendly and very active, and would offer joy to someone that loves being surrounded by three large dogs.

Dianne's place in Marini, a small cute little village tucked away in Cava dei Terrini is more than great! We enjoyed our stay thoroughly! Her place was fully equipped with everything we needed during our 1 week stay! Moreover, Dianne is a kind and sweet person. We arrived on a Sunday and because buses run on the hour on Sundays, Dianne kindly came and met us at the bus station and took us home. This made it so much easier for us to get to her place on our first day on the Amalfi Coast. To top of it all off, after a long day's journey she made us her delicious pasta and bruschetta! We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend her place to our friends and family.

I've known Dianne for several years and I can honestly attest that she is a genuine and warm person who's very easy to get to know and loves people. Though I've never had the privilege of staying at her B&B, I know she cares a great deal about her guests and provides a welcome and affordable place to stay where visitors can make their home and set out to see one of the most picturesque jewels of Italy's west coast. She's a great host and you shouldn't hesitate to take advantage of the hospitality she provides.

We felt like if we were at a friend's house. We spent almost a week at her place in the amalfi coast. She is such a great host! super attentive, and so much fun to hang with. Just the perfect combination, someone who is arround (so if you need anything you can ask) but respects your space.
