Luxury Romantic Born Apartment

Great experience. A perfect house very clean with lots of room ( 2 double beds in 2 separate rooms). In the best location, very near Santa Maria del Mar, the place you want to be in Barcelona. Metro station in 50 metres, mini market just below the apartment. Raquel is a very nice person, giving a lot of advice for nightlife places. Price was great too. Would definitely choose again if I had the chance.

A great base for exploring Barcelona--nice apartment with good beds, clean kitchen and bathroom. Ana Raquel was a great host--accommodating and helpful, Close to metro lines, great tapas bars, food stores, etc. Front bedroom can get noisy til wee hours on weekends, but was fine all other nights.

The place was beautiful and in the PERFECT location. So close to everything including La Rambla street and this great this bar/restaurant with delicious sangria. The shower was hot, the building secure and the view was lovely.

Very comfortable, very clean, very central & has a lift ! Actually bigger than it looks in the photos. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. Ana was very accommodating regarding our arrival and departure times.

My family and I have really enjoyed our stay at Ana Raquel's apartment. It's a great location, right in the middle of one of the best neighbourhoods in Barcelona. The apartment caters all your basic needs: good beds, clean kitchen, cozy living room and a balcony. The bathroom needed a bit of a fix, and there was no wifi, but those were just minor nuisances. We have really enjoyed a place to ourselves for 5 wonderful days. Ana Raquel always writes back quickly and was good with bringing and picking up the keys.

The apartment is in a great part of this wonderful city, 10 mins walk from the beach and Las Ramblas. Food shops, cafes all around and great access to public transport. Apartment has lovely comfortable beds. Considering central location it is also pretty quiet. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful time in Ana Raquel's apartment. The location was superb - right in the heart of La Ribera/Barri Gottic and within walking distance to everything. The apartment was clean, well equipped and Ana Raquel was very thoughtful - we had a late flight out and she kindly helped us out by storing our luggage to enable us to explore Barcelona on our final day as well as providing lots of great tips for restaurants and bars to explore in the local area. Thank you Ana for such a fantastic Barcelona experience.

I would not call it Luxury. It is was good for the price, but the floors are scratched, the place is run down, no TV, not reliable WiFi, no dishwasher and you can hear the garbage trucks about 4am! Really noisy! The clothes washing machine leaked water everywhere that we had to mop up, and nowhere to hang clothes, but we asked for a rack and then they provided it. It's an okay size place, just the write up was a bit misleading since it is 2-3 star, which I would not call 'luxury' at all! The master bedroom is in the lounge room, not a separate room. Okay for a young group of travellers looking for a good price, basic amenities and central location that cannot be beat.

We had a wonderful time in Barcelona! The appartment looks like the pictures. It's really nice and stylish. everything was clean. Ana Raquel is a perfect host! Verry friendly and openminded! The appartment is really central, but also loud. We had to put earplugs in, that we could sleep...but for this price, no problem! We would definitely choose Ana Raquel again as our host the next time when we get to barcelona!

First we came in Barcelona prety prety late,taxi left us near Reial square, and there was a huge party on the streets and Reial . It was the night before first of may, so people was celebrating! Okey, so we moved from Reaial to one little street and prety fast we found Ana Raquels street. I looked up i saw Ana on the balcony saying hellou! Adress is Carrer dels Escudellers Blancs 1, and on the number 2 of the same streets, building just acroos the balcony, was a first atelier of Pablo Picasso, when he was living in Barcelona! The type of streets in that part of town is old meditterian, and it is very charming, just like in Dubrovnik, for example. Flat is on the first floor….and you have an elevator! So, this time we choose to go by stairs, and there she was . We came in the her flat, and mine first impression was – this is so cool! The flat is big, whith white and clean walls, big big kitchen, full of equipment, two large bedrooms and bathroom with cool shower, exactly the same situation like in a photo on airbnb. Ana is great, she wll help you with everything you need to know, thats for sure! This location is so so so perfect, Placa Catalunya is here, Las Ramblas is on, lets say, im not kidding, on 30 seconds, El Reial even closer. Barcelonetta, sea, el Raval, el Born, are on 5 minutes of walking, for real! You have a little market just near the entrance of building. Lovely guy from India is working there. Also, there are two bars, or clubs, in the same street, you can drink wine on the balcony, watching people, and then just go in your pidjamas dancing in the clubs  Ana Raquel is definetly a great host, and Sabina and i was little bit disspointed because we didnt call her to coffee or something like that because our flight was little bit to early , but, nevermind, we decided that we will come again!

First of all Ana is a great host and a very understanding person! Her apartment has a great location, 3 minutes to Liceu metro station, 7 minutes to sea side and just next to place gotico, which means 30 seconds to ramblas :) There are lots of beautiful places to drink and eat, and also there is a small market that you can find everything you need just under the apartment! Her flat was very clean, the 4 single beds were very comfortable and there was a beautiful sofa too. I strongly suggest Ana as a host and her apartment as a great place to stay!

We spend 3 days in Barcellona, in Raquel's house. Great location, the apartment is just behind Plaza Real, two minutes from La Rambla, very comfortable and clean. Raquel and her friend Vivian were very helpful with us, our flight was on late, but they made any problem for check in. Thanks, I hope to return very soon.
