"Lucilehouse" is a 90 year old unique, serene, spacious, VIEW home, quietly tucked in a natural setting in the hills of Silver Lake and a short walk to some of Silver Lake's best restaurants, cafe's and boutiques located on a stretch of Sunset Boulevard.
Spacious, quiet, charming 2 bedroom 1.5 bath, VIEW HOME and property provides all the amenities needed for a comfortable and calming stay.
PARKING: Unrestricted street parking in front of home
KITCHEN: Equipped with everything you will need to prepare, cook and serve.
Small appliances include; Microwave, toaster, juicer, blender,coffee bean grinder, coffee maker and food processor.
DINING ROOM: Spacious, seats 6 and opens out to the deck with city and mountain views.
LIVING ROOM: Shares large open space with dining room, opens out to the deck with mountain and city views
BEDROOMS: Both bedrooms have a queen size plush bed, higher quality hypo-allergenic bedding, dresser and mirrored wardrobe closets.
Front bedroom opens out to a small front courtyard , second bedroom opens out onto the large deck with city and mountain views.
BATHROOMS: There is a full bathroom between both bedrooms and a 1/2 bathroom located off kitchen. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body soap,bathroom tissue and hair dryer are provided by your hosts.
VIEW DECK: Fantastic views of the Hollywood Hills and city lights facing west as far as Century City. The prefect place to be for beautiful sunsets.
LAUNDRY: Our guests are welcome to use the laundry facilities at any time. Laundry supplies are conveniently provided.
GARDENS: Beautifully landscaped, lighting, fountains, seating throughout and meditation garden areas our guests are always welcome to.
At the lowest part of the garden, is the "Quiet Garden". This area is exclusively for our guests, while we share the remaining gardens.
SECURITY: The home is equipped with both alarm and security camera
AIR CONDITIONING: There are portable air conditioners in each of the bedrooms and in living room.
Guests have exclusive access to main house, large top deck, front courtyard area, lower "quiet garden" area and we share the remaining gardens and laundry facilities
Interaction with guests
We are available to be of support during our guests stay while respecting guests privacy.
Other things to note
*Feel free to ask about an earlier check-in or later check out. We will accommodate if possible. If arriving before check in time, guests are welcome to drop bags off till check in time.
* There are no other workers on the property other than both of your hosts who maintain all aspects of the property themselves. One of your hosts lives on the property in downstairs guest apartment, the other 5 minutes down the road. One of us is usually close by should you need our support for any reason during your stay.
We're really easy going guys. We just ask that as welcomed guests, you are respectful of our home and our neighborhood.
Please keep noise to a minimum after 10 pm, weekends more flexible.
Smoking is ONLY allowed outdoors and we ask that you close ALL doors behind you.
We do not allow pets in rental at this time.

Howdy! We're both natives of Southern California and long time residents and homeowners in one of LA's best neighborhoods, Silver Lake. We both freelance, one in accounting, the other as a decorative painter/personal asst.
We enjoy tasty foods, the great outdoors, gardening, film, music, DIY projects, lazy days on the beach and can't live without sweets.
It has been a complete pleasure sharing this special place we've created and welcoming guests from all over the globe and from all walks of life onto our friendly and diverse property. The world has definitely become a much smaller place. We hope we have the opportunity to welcome you to the house and to Silver Lake.
