This is a 2 bdrm apt in a prime location of Venice, CA. My girlfriend and I live here in the master bedroom with our Portuguese Water Dog puppy. The guest bedroom is for guests. Venice beach is a very hip and popular place to be in Los Angeles especially during the summer months. Art, music, yoga and healing, architecture, travelers, bohemians, eclectic culture, sports enthusiasts, techies, and film buffs thrive here. Personally, I am a film and television producer/exec and my girlfriend is a writer. We can recommend good places to eat and some fun galleries to visit. Or exploring is quite easy to do around here with a very open and welcoming culture. We are both busy people, but can easily help guide you in the right direction and we don't mind having people around. The room is clean and has a queen size bed, vanity table, lamp, walk-in closet, private bathroom, direct TV, and a Wireless connection. In the living room we watch good television (Dexter, Damages, anything on HBO) and an occasional movie, it is free for casual relaxation, reading a book or working on a laptop. The place is located about 7 blocks from the beach and 5 from the hip Abbott Kinney. There is secured access to the building and plenty of street parking. The kitchen is also available for you to use and Whole Foods 3 blocks away. There are also lots of restaurants to choose from in the neighborhood. We have a washer/dryer in the garage. Bus lines stop on main street (6 blocks from here) and the number for yellow cab:((phone number hidden). Coming from the airport, I find the fare is usually arnd $15-$30 depending on traffic and takes about 20 minutes. The shuttle is $10 with a few stops along the way. This neighborhood is easy to get around by bike and there are lots of bike rental shops nearby. Roller blades, skateboards and walking have also been popular choices for getting around if one does not have a rental or car.

No drugs. No guests outside the people registered. No smoking indoors. No pets. No parties. No loud noise at night or early in the morning. we just ask the guests to be respectful of our home and clean up after themselves. We have the security deposit in case a tenant loses the key. I would need to replace the high security lock to feel comfortable.

My first stay via Airbnb and it was perfect. Anson, Suzy, and Leon are all very nice and made me feel welcome and comfortable the week I was there. The room is great/everything I would want in a room: comfy bed, large walk-in closet, private bathroom, a vanity, and fast wireless! The location is great as well - short walk to Abbot Kinney, the beach, and Whole Foods as well as close/an easy drive to everything I wanted to go to in Santa Monica, Venice, West L.A. in general.

According to Danny (my employee who stayed with Anson): "My stay was AWESOME! Anson and Suzy have this super cute dog named Leon. I sat in the living room and watched football with Anson on a Sunday. Suzy (the girlfriend) is so fun and energetic. The atmosphere was so laid back and chill. They made sure to give me a key to the garage to access the free laundry. The room I stayed in was just beautiful. It was huge. The bed was so comfy and the decor in the room just made me feel like I was at a hotel. Overall great experience."

Great hosts and the room was just like in the photos - huge! Very warm, comfy bed and a clean ensuite bathroom. The location was great for Venice Beach and Santa Monica was a short bus-ride away. Anson had some good recommendations for places to visit. And their dog is adorable. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it for people who want to be based in Venice.

The appartement is perfectly located in Venice Beach very close to buses that go to Santa Monica as well as the streets where you can find bars, restaurant & shopping. The room is exactly as described and as you can see on the pictures (very large room, own full bathroom & closet). The hosts are super friendly, helplful and respectull! We spent 3 weeks in the room and would definitily come back to this place! We highly recommend ++++

Room actually looks as advertised. Very large. Walk in closet. Convenient to the local bus service, if you want to spend time in Venice and Santa Monica that is a big cost saver. Bathroom could have better lighting/ventilation in terms of putting on make up directly after a shower, but the water pressure and temperature are great in the shower and the toilet. Walk in closet is a big plus, for being able to keep the room neat. Room comes with TV and Cable. The dog is sweet.
