My husband and I spent about 5 days at Pia's place. We experienced it through both rain and sunny weather. We went on adventures and we stayed at "home" and hung out together listening to music and eating Ted's take out. We enjoyed all aspects of the condo and feel that Pia and Eric and their hospitality and knowledge were a large and enjoyable part of that. Pia's place is open, airy, fun and unassuming. It is set to the soundtrack of North Shore waves and Hawaiian bird song. The unpretentious amenities and vibrant decor reminded us at every moment to relax and just BE. We felt as though the place itself was a part of the island experience. It had everything you need plus may other things that came in handy, like snorkel gear, water shoes, boogie boards. We particularly loved the outside table and chairs. (note that they are different that what is pictured) It rained off and on while we were there and the outside space was sheltered by an overhang. It allowed us to chill out on the deck without getting wet. While on the deck you of course get fantastic views of the ocean and sky. As a host Pia was kind and knowledgeable. Her love for the Island is evident and she and Eric both exude the Aloha spirit. We had a few plans that we had to re-arrange and Pia was very helpful in directing us to the best beaches to swim and drives to take. The colors were bright, the air was salty. We could hear, see and smell the ocean. The neighbors are kind and quiet. We could have imagined a place with many more "things" but we felt there was nothing more we needed. We were there to discover the island and to spend time with each other and we feel that is exactly what we did. If that is the experience for which you're hoping then you will enjoy Pia's place.

The apartment was as described and had all the basic necessities needed, cute beach house. The location and view from the lanai was amazing. We sat for hours on the beach just out front of the home whale watching. Locals are friendly and helpful. Truly paradise! Wonderful experience. Thank you Pia.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Pia's place. From start to finish, her communication was excellent. We arrived early and asked if we could park but the place was ready so she checked us in a bit early. She sat down with us and looked through a guidebook and showed us some must-sees on the map based on what types of activities we were looking for. She knows SO MUCH about Oahu. We got much more than a host in her, we got a concierge! The place itself was much nicer than I had thought it would be. The decor is fun and funky. The apartment really is just steps from the ocean and you can see and hear the waves crashing from the patio. Everything is set up so you don't have to worry about it- there is a hose for rinsing sand off your feet, beach towels, even boogie boards to use! The beds were comfortable and the place gets good circulation so it was comfortable and breezy while we slept. Pia was super accommodating to a few extra requests we made - she let us borrow her coffee grinder and French press, for example, so we could make the Hawai'ian coffee we'd bought. She really seemed invested in making sure we had a nice time. The only thing that bummed us out a bit was a neighbor who smoked outside a lot. Maybe clove cigarettes? The smoke made it hard for us to eat or sit outside on the patio a couple of times but we went inside and shut the windows, or down to the ocean, and it was no big deal. Just be aware of this if you are super sensitive to smoke. Other than that everything about our stay was perfect. A super value for the location (right on sunset beach- did I mention the sunsets??) and close to a dozen other beaches. We would not hesitate to book here again and are already planning to stay at Pia's place in 2019. Wonderful!!

We had a lovely week at Pia's place. The location is amazing, the apartment is simple, clean and cozy and Pia is an awesome host. She had plenty of suggestions for hikes and beaches to visit. We really enjoyed barbequeing on the lanai, watching the sunset and listening to the waves. Hope to return one day!

We had a wonderful stay at Pia's place, it was exactly what we expected- a cute place with an incredible location for my partner to surf right out the front while myself and my 18 month old son could watch and play on the great grass area in front of the accommodation. Pia gave us lots of suggestions of places to visit whilst on the North Shore. Prime location close to Haleiwa and Turtle Bay for dining options though can enjoy relaxed days at Sunset Beach. Thanks for everything Pia.
