Elite Housing w. Amazing Seaview 2

Host (Grade: A) - Anil is a great host. He gave travel advise and showed us around in the neighborhood. Truly interested in making stay enjoyable. Location (Grade: A-) - Amazing view, 10 min walk to Ferry station, which take 30 min to get to European side where all the tourist attractions area. Very exciting neighborhood to go out at night and mingle with locals. Room (Grade: B+) - Room was clean and had the basics. Good view comes with some car / big city noise, but I guess that is as good as it gets in Istanbul. Other (Grade: B) - Common area, such as bathroom and kitchen would have benefited from thorough and regular cleaning. Also, toilet paper was missing and wasn't stocked up during 4 day stay.

The flat is not in the touristic part but give you a real insight of the Asian side and it worth it to book in Kadikoi. Anil was really arranging to meet for the key even if my plane was late and I could not use my phone in Turkey (what I didn't know). The room itself is OK and fit to what you can be waiting for at that price. It is quite noisy, if you're a light sleeper you may be annoyed. Once Anil give you the direction, you'll find the flat quite easily.

Anil is a great guy and a great host. The room is basic and ok. I really liked to stay on the Asian side because it is less touristy and although further away from the tourist attractions, the boat is in front of the appartment and so everything is easy to reach. The only thing once has to consider when booking this room is that the appartment is in use as student flat as well so at night might sometimes be little bit noisy.

Anil is a great host. Took me out, showed me the ropes. The room is simple, but effective, off the beaten tourist track, but a real taste of Istanbul.

I had a great stay during the Turkish Healthcare Summit 2012 ! Anil was a very nice and helpful host who answered any mail requests in almost no time. His appartment was very clean and had a marvellous location on the asian side of the Bosporus. I can really recommend to stay at this place that has in addidtion to all things above a very fast connection to all areas of Istanbul through ferries. Thank you Anil !

A bit underrated. This place overlooks the Bosporus, and borders the waterfront park. The Trolley bell dings as it goes by and you are a minute walk from good bakeries with wholesome bread. Each room has a desk and sitting furniture so you can hang out in your own room or pic one of the lounges. You get a set of keys when you arrive and there are a few Istanbul guide books on the coffee table. The Wifi is on, and an electric kettle awaits you. This place can be anything you want it to be.

I spend a really great week at Anil's flat! I was there for my first days in Istanbul and I couldn't have found more helpfull and welcoming than his house. Anil is available for any question you may have when you first arrive in such a huge city as Istanbul is. I can not do anythingelse that recommand you this place!! And actually the view is really amazing :-). Thanks Anil!!

Perfect stay in a calm and residential area, close to shops and restaurants. Public transport within reach of a few minutes only. Helpful host and the flat was nice. Everything was flawless. I can only recommend it for a stay in Istanbul! Thanks again

Anil is fantastic! He's wonderfully helpful and welcoming. He'll help you make your plans for seeing the city (and be sure to take his advice). The flat is great and really fits the bill for a good place to stay that is slightly away from the touristic European side. It is a short ferry ride to the old city and all the incredible sights there. Highly recommended.

Visiting Istanbul for the first time, I stayed with Anil for four days. Knowledgeable, friendly, cultured with a great enthusiasm for life he is a perfect host to stay with. The apartment is great pad, in a location that provides a real taste of Istanbul in a cool, secure and upcoming area. If I ever return to Istanbul I will be sure to look Anil up again.

First of all, Kadiköy is a great location for living. Not as crowded as the european side, almost no tourists. The flat is perfectly located near the moda park, close to the seaside and only a few minutes walk to the bus and ferry station. What i especially appreciated is that the dolmus stop is very close to the flat, so that you don't have to walk a long distance when you get home late at night and also in this area are always securities. So it is a safe area also. The flat is very spacious and offers an amazing view at the european side. You can see Hagia Sofia and Sultan Ahmet Mosque from your balcony :) I felt very comfortable in this flat. Anil is a very welcoming person, helpful if you need anything and will show you around for having an impression of his hometown. Also he is very friendly and uncomplicated and you can always have a good conversation. Didn't regret to stay there and would always stay there again.

Merhaba! I was lucky to spend 6 months together with lovely roommates and my boyfriend Anil in one of the most beautiful and fascinating cities in the world: Istanbul. This apartment is definitely one of a kind and made my stay worthwile. Located in beautiful Moda, Kadikoy, you have an amazing view on the historical peninsula and the Bosporus, and everything you need is just in reach - restaurants, supermarkets, bars, cafes, and shopping streets, such as Bahariye. The ferry stations, as well as other connections to public transport (including buses and so-called dolmuses) are only 5-minutes walking distance, and you have a park adjacent to the apartment. You can take walks there or have ice-cream on the stony walls next to the water, overlooking the Bosporus until your eyes hit the fuzzy contours of the princes islands in the distance. About the apartment itself: the rooms are spacious and light, there are 2 bathrooms and a big kitchen. The living room has a big table which we often used to play pool or poker. It also has a beautiful and big garden in the backyard, a privilegue when you want to calm down from the rush of this huge city. The neighbours and people living around are friendly and welcoming. The district itself is not as hectic and crowded as some parts of the European side, making it less touristic and simply a wonderful place to live. Whoever has the chance to live in this apartment can consider himself to be lucky. Have a good stay in Istanbul!
