  There's much to be said for a clean, cozy, tastefully decorated apartment that's filled with vibrant artwork. It's inspiring. We just parked the car and walked around the Mission District. We were new to the area and Olivia was helpful with everything from how to decipher the parking signs, how to catch BART and the Cal train, and favorite local eateries.

  We stayed at Olivia's apartment in August 2011. The apartment is perfectly located in the Mission for getting around the city on the Muni and was very conveniently located near the BART for easy access to SFO. There are so many different restaurants to choose from within walking distance that you could literally eat your way around the block! The apartment itself is beautifully decorated with all the little comforts of home. Olivia was a great host!

  We stayed in Olivia's apartment for 3 days in early June 2011. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It is an amazing apartment and represents great value for money. It is very spacious with plenty of natural light and the sunroom is a real bonus. The kitchen is very well equipped and bed is very comfortable. Olivia and her partner were excellent hosts - extremely friendly and readily answered any questions we had. There are plenty of eating options just a couple minutes away. It is only a short walk to the BART station, making it a breeze to access Union Square, the Ferry Building and Fisherman's Wharf (using a streetcar connection). We would have no hesitation in recommending the Gallery apartment to family and friends visiting San Francisco. Trevor & Liz

  My startup hosted an out-of-town recruit here -- and within the first two days of being in town, he said that it was his favorite thing about SF so far! This place isn't "homey" -- it's hands-down awesome, and in my favorite part of the Mission no less. Thanks Olivia!

  The Gallery Residence has so many wonderful things going for it! First, Olivia and her husband are fantastic. They are kind, mindful and have a great attention for detail. The apartment is incredible - it has dozens of pieces from the fabric8 gallery downstairs, interesting and thoughtful furnishings, and great light! The location is fantastic. You can walk around the corner to Ritual Coffee for your wake up juice. On the corner you can have breakfast at Boogaloo or get amazing Italian deli supplies (and pizza) from Lucca's. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend the Gallery Residence for anyone looking to have some fun in the Mission.

  We cannot say enough good about our time at the Fabric8 gallery apartment. The apartment was spacious, clean and light filled. Olivia was responsive to all of our pre trip questions, and directed us to several nice places to visit/eat/sightsee. We hope to visit SF again soon, and we will check the availability of this apartment for sure. Thanks Olivia!

  My reservation included 2 adults and 1 small child. The flat was very well equipped to accommodate. Although it is only 1 bedroom, it is quite spacious with the rear sun room easily partitioned from the master bedroom for a child. The flat itself does a fine job of infusing modern and eclectic art/furnishings into a sunny and airy 2nd story victorian. Great art on display in the unit and, as I understand, is constantly changing. Bottom line, its a nice balance of modern design, artistry, history, and comfort. The boutique on the bottom floor is also well worth a look. Olivia is very accommodating and relaxed but on point and transparent with all the logistical and administrative facets of the stay. I was especially happy about the stocked Odwalla, and coffee. Its central Mission district, which is what we were looking for. The area has its positives and negatives, but I would argue largely positive. Public transit is close, and there is a wide array of dining/drinking options that can be found within a few short blocks. Definitely would recommend, and would definitely stay again.

  The space is beautiful, tidy, well laid out, easy to find, and right in the Mission. It looks just like the pictures on the website. Olivia met us when we arrived and was very a very proactive host - setting us up with wifi, a sheet of details about the apartment, and two sets of keys. It was a delightful stay! The apartment is also over Fabric8, a very cool gallery space. The one thing to keep in mind is you can hear the soundsystem from the gallery below in the bedroom of the apartment (they are directly above/below each other), so that's not so good if you're an afternoon napper. Otherwise, highly recommended! Would definitely stay there again!

  My family (3 people) stayed there and had a great time. The location is convenient. The place itself is very nice, clean and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen. Olivia was also helpful and responsive.
