The two Roman airports of Leonardo da Vinci and Ciampino are easily accessible.

The apartment is on the fifth floor of a building with elevator and concierge service. It has recently been refurbished to offer all the comfort and coziness of home. We chose to travel on the hottest week of the year to travel to Rome so this may not apply to everyone - the AC was quite old and didn't really work, it leaked and we had to drain this bottle of dirty water every 90 minutes. The apartment is not conveniently located it's far from sites like the Coliseum and about 20 min from the Vatican. Be prepared to use public transportation and taxis. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had a few snacks which was nice.

Response from Renzo:
First of all thank you for your comments wich are nonetheless too severe. The air conditioner was installed in 2015(certification available) and is not old as indicated. In the document made available to my guests, it is clearly indicated that the discharge hose can be put in the toilet thus relieving the guests of the necessity to empty the bottle every 2 hours. I will have it revisioned in any case, in order to verify the performance. As far as the distance from the center is concerned, it was also clearly indicated in the presentation of the apartment on the Airbnb site. If you chose an apartment located at "3 kms from the center" you should not expect anything else than having to take public transportation to reach it, especially in this heat. Moreover, the center of Rome is 15km wide, which makes the use of public transportation unavoidable. In order to facilitate my guests movements in the area and to the main monuments, all possible means of transportation as well as the time foreseen to cover them were detailed. Finally, all the many other comments and evaluations received about my apartment seem to be more objectives. Kind Regards, Renzo

Renzo's apartment is perfectly situated to enjoy your stay in Rome to its full potential. It is a very clean, cosy apartment with everything you need - there were even some little nibbles left out for us for when we arrived. It is fairly close to the train station so you can reach all the main areas of Rome very easily by tram, train or metro; however, we chose to walk everywhere, which meant that we saw a lot more of Rome, plus stumbled across a few hidden gems that we wouldn't otherwise have seen. Although we never met Renzo, his communication with us was faultless and he was more than happy to provide us with extra recommendations throughout our stay! All of his recommendations were spot on, especially the bakery across the road, Mario Tornatora, and the Gelato shop 100m away from the apartment. We will definitely be recommending Renzo's home in Rome to our friends!

Great stay in this perfect-for-two apartment located nearby public transport. The fridge and pantry were stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Renzo's recommendations for food and gelato turned out be excellent! Do try the restaurants/gelato on the same street Check in was a breeze as was check-out and Renzo was always readily available to clarify any questions I had through message. He was a great host. Highly recommended!

Renzo's home was in a part of the city that is away from all the tourism and crowed, which is exactly what we were looking for. He met us at his place and gave us many recommendations for where to eat and go. He put together a very helpful guide book as well which we referenced a lot. His home is walking distance From Tratsevere train station, which is really convenient. His home is a bit of a walk to get to the main tourist attractions like the Colosseum or Pantheon, but we were able to get a taxi easily when needed.

This was our second air BnB experience and we were amazed with Renzo's wonderful hosting in his lovely home away from home. Our plane didn't land till late at night and Renzo met us at the apartment at midnight when we got there. He showed us everything about the apartment and left us with a bottle of wine for arrival and a few little goodies like bread, juice, yogurt etc to get us settled. There was a book full of recommendations on places to visit and eat all were spot on the restaurant recommended across the road was amazing! Was a little trip about 15-20mins to get to the city but found it very easy to work out from tips Renzo had given us in the booklet. Extremely enjoyed our stay at this cute little apartment which gave us a very authentic Italian experience. Would stay here if we come back for sure! Renzo had thought of everything in this apartment to help with our stay!! Highly recommended to stay here!
