Welcome to our incredible, charming, loving historic home in the center of NYC's two best neighborhoods, Greenwich Village & Soho! The entire private apartment (the bottom floor of a historic town-home) is yours during your NYC stay.

** Beautiful granite bathroom with large shower - definitely fits two!

** Separate bedroom area with 1 full size bed - very cozy and opens onto the garden!
** Living room with 1 queen size sofa bed.
** Sleeps 2 very comfortably and can accommodate up to 4.
** Blocks away from 8 subway lines & lots of transportation (ACE - W. 4th and Spring Street - BDFV W. 4th - 1 Houston St)
** NYU and Washington Square Park are 5 blocks away!
** Clean and lovingly cared for and always full of chocolate!
** No pets allowed. (Note - there are two beautiful and friendly cats in the upstairs home if you are highly allergic.)
** No extra invited guests allowed during stay.
** Non-smoking home.
** Take note that fellow New Yorkers find this place sizable & beautiful for the adorable Greenwich Village/Soho neighborhoods we know and love. All Village apartments are likely smaller than most places in the world. Welcome to NYC living! :)
** 4 night minimum required. (Minimum stay & pricing does sometimes go up due to demand during high/holiday seasons.)
** No extra charge per guest but there is a cleaning fee of $150 per stay.

As for us, we are an internationally minded couple trying to change the world. I'm an Harvard Business School 2001 graduate and founded and run my own chocolate company in NYC. My love, Jean-luc, is a beautiful French photographer. Our home is a lucky and wonderful place for an NYC stay and has great kharma for all guests.

Amazing Location. Close to everything and still secluded enough to relax quietly, in this red brick house giving onto a garden and a patio. Very quiet at night. Homy and warm atmosphere inside. Fresh and sunny patio with friendly cats outside. Wonderful chocolates from Sarah's shop. Nice little bathroom, with fresh fluffy towels. Computer available for internet. Shelves filled with art books, travel guides and Jean-Luc photos. Little kitchen with espresso machine. Friendly hosts, discrete, efficient, responsive, enthusiastic. Would definitely like to stay there again. Merci Sarah et Jean-Luc!

Sarah and Jean-luc's apartment was just perfect for the knd of trip we wanted to have. We loved coming back home after a day spent in the city and we really fealt as it was our own place - so we didn't feel tourist in NY. Unfortunately the weather was not nice and we couldn't enjoy the garden, definitively a plus of the apartment. Sarah and Jean-luc were great host and, even if we couldn't meet, they were very present and supportive for everything. The location is also great, 2 minutes walk from subway (Spring St. and Houston st.) and right in the middle of SoHo. Hopefully we will back soon in NY. Alessandro&Chiara

You couldn't get a better location or better people to deal with in all of New York. As a first-time user of the site I was a little sceptical of the whole thing at first but that was proved totally unfounded, everything about the experience was great, from the very detailed and helpful e-mails before arriving to the delicious Sweetriot chocolates that were a gift from our hosts and the very kind offer of looking after out bags on the last day of our stay. I would not hesitate to stay again when I'm back in the city and would like to thank Sarah for exceeding all my expectations and making my holiday so wonderful by letting us use the apartment. I may never use a hotel again! Thanks again guys. R.

This apartment was perfect for our holiday. Sarah was friendly and kept great communication throughout our stay as needed. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The location was fabulous! Would definitely stay here again.

Exactly as we hoped. Sarah was a delight to work with. After a day in the city it was wonderful to take refuge in her home. VERY clean and attractive. The outside garden was an extra treat. The information she left about the subway and restaurants was really helpful. Location is great. She referred us to hopstop.com. . . .truly a lifesaver in getting around.

My daughter & I just got home from a week in New York. Sarah's home was an oasis in the city with her lovely garden; a perfect place to rest out feet after miles of walking, shopping, exploring.Fantastic restaurants and stores are just steps way from this quiet, calm retreat.We felt safe and like we belonged to the community. Sarah left lots of helpful information, suggestions and guidebooks. Her home is filled with books, beautiful objects, wonderful photographs and chocolate! It was a pleasure communicating with Sarah and a treat to stay in her home - can't wait to go back. And yes, the shower is fantastic! Thanks again.

The apartment was fantastic. Great to stay in a real home filled with interesting books and travel artifacts rather than 'sterile' hotel room. Sarah was great to deal with - prompt replies and helpful information. The location was superb; we were able to walk to most places and the choice of local restaurants was daunting. I would not hesitate to stay in this apartment again. Many thanks Sarah!

5/5. Sarah was accommodating from start to finish. Not only did she convince her partner to let us stay there during our very specific time requests, she completely trusted us with the key pick-up and the place. I am sorry I didn't even get to meet her as she was on a trip but all our correspondence was flawless. She is not flaky, reliable and doesn't hesitate to answer every question. The apartment is stylish, eclectic, comfortable and has everything you need: towels, chocolates, a giant MAC, guides, the perfect sofa for relaxing after a hard day of walking. Sarah's location is also fabulous. I can walk to Louis Vuitton, John Varvatos, numerous SoHo boutiques, West Broadway and walk around the West Village to find a neat restaurant. It is the perfect place to stay if you're into dining, shopping and New York living. NRQW line will take you right up to the Upper East Side. Short walk to Union Square and Chinatown. The morning light is beautiful, the garden (!) is wonderful, the area is very safe and subway stations are a few blocks away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Also, SHE HAS THE BEST SHOWER IN THE WORLD. Hands down. Worth every penny if you're looking for an authentic and comfortable NY experience... With a touch of style.
