Apartment close to downtown, cheap!

Very cute small apartment attached to a house. It is located in a residential neighborhood just a few blocks (maybe 5 blocks) from the downtown. We didn't mind the short walk to downtown because it is all downhill but going back is like walking up Lombard street, so be prepared, not ideal for someone who cannot walk a lot. Location was great for us though because we both enjoy walking and even did a run from the apartment down to the lakefront. Apartment had all the basic essentials and it was great to be able to take food from the market and store in the fridge or to cook, especially if you are staying there for more than a few days. Apartment also included a maid, so we didn't have to worry about it getting messy. We really liked our stay here and would probably choose it again over the big hotels that are located right downtown. Our only complaint is that the mattress on the bed was a bit uncomfortable, but if you are only staying for a few days then it probably won't be a problem. The hosts were very hospitable and offered us advice on where to get a rental car and even called us a cab when we were leaving. Although, their English wasn't that great, we were able to communicate in Spanish and broken English. This place has a lot of charm, you feel like you are living in Bariloche, and the hosts are really the nicest of people.

Rodolfo and Alicia were wonderful, warm hosts that made us feel very welcomed. The property is in an excellent location with easy access to supermarkets, restaurants and the main thoroughfare. The apartment was both clean and well maintained. Highly recommended.

Es un buen lugar para alojarse. Cálido, acogedor, cercano al centro de la ciudad. El precio es más que razonable. Además los anfitriones son muy "macanudos". Carlos Alberto Rodriguez
