Landmark Williamsburg

Our stay in this apartment was wonderful! It's centrally located but on a quiet street. It felt quite cozy and comfortable, and was a lovely historic building with great funky details like rickety stairs and pretty tin ceilings. The apartment is sunny and warm and gets great light in the day. I really loved all the plants and overall the apartment was clean and pleasant. The best part is how close you are to everything, it is such a fantastic location, including a great cafe directly across the street for morning coffee + pastries. Patrick was accommodating, easy to reach, and respectful of our privacy— a great airbnb host! I would definitely stay here again.

great location , quiet place , bakery across the street , grocery store half a block away , subway L to manhattan 5 mns walk ... williamsburg is a great location to stay in ! patrick's apartment is exactly as described , please mind that it is a third floor and that the stairs could be a bit stiff for some ... we enjoyed your stay at patrick's , thank you again !

Patrick is a very nice guy, and his place is clean and simple with an artsy, eclectic feel. Especially good for a single traveler or adventurous couple. Great as a home base for lots of sight-seeing, but not for a romantic getaway or anything. PROS: - a short walk to the J, Z or L lines into Manhattan (just one stop away) - clean - artsy, eclectic vibe - Patrick is a sweet guy; left us orange juice and Pelegrino in the fridge, and was available for whatever questions we had - cool area; lots of bars, cafes, stores; felt relatively safe CONS: - this apartment is super old; stairs up to the third floor are creaky and spooky; the hardwood floors in the actual apartment were also very creaky and slanted - before we arrived, Patrick wasn't as quick to respond to our emails and text messages as we would have liked. Everything turned out fine, but as the countdown to our flight began, we still hadn't confirmed how we would exchange keys, etc. - No TV; for many this won't be a big deal but we kind of missed it All in all, for a private apartment rental in Brooklyn, at half the price of a Manhattan hotel, it was great!

We loved our stay here. Patrick was friendly and easy to deal with throughout and the apartment is really homely and stylish. Better yet, it's conveniently located just moments from Bedford Ave subway and some great restaurants and bars. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to others.

Wonderful apartment - exactly as it appears in the photos. Stylish, atmospheric and comfortable (and romantic!). Location couldn't be better - we loved the neighbourhood so much - you'll have a wonderful time! All the arrangements with Patrick went smoothly and he remained calm and supportive when hurricane Irene threatened our travel plans. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed in Patrick's apartment for 10 days in August. It was a great place to stay, a little crooked, but full of character and charm. It was close to grocery stores, 5 blocks from the subway, and Bedford avenue, full of amazing places to eat, drink and shop. It had everything you could possibly need in an apartment, and Patrick was a great host, always available to answer any queries we had while we were there and fast to respond to questions before we arrived. We would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay in the heart of Williamsbourg in this old and charming apartment. Patrick was very helpfull - and everything was as promised.

We stayed at Patrick's place for 2 weeks. We have absolutely no complaints about our experience - the place was even better in person, with endless character and a really homey feel. Patrick was always quick to respond to questions, and keeps the place clean and full of amenities. The location can't get much better - would definitely recommend Patrick's place to anyone looking for the full Williamsburg experience!

I couldn't say enough good things about Patrick and his apartment. The apartment itself is stylish, comfortable and safe. Patrick has great taste and there is anything you could want. The neighbourhood is full Of excellent cafes, bars and shops. We found everyone friendly and enjoyed everything the area had to offer. We found the journey into manhattan simple also, only a few minutes on the subway. Really hope we can stay again soon. Thanks patrick

Patrick is one of those people in one's life that just makes you feel on top of the world! He - and his home - are something special to add to your NYC experience and you won't get much closer to the vibe of the 'Northside' in Williamsburg. - EP
