Sheila is a wonderful host, and her house is both well located and lovely. Every morning there were scones and freshly squeezed orange juice in the kitchen, it was very easy to feel at home there. The location is also great, just a couple minutes away from basically everything you could need. A great spot to use as your Galway HQ!

My trip at Sheila home went very well, she is very welcome. The house is very nice, clean, in the center of Galway. Access to the kitchen, breakfast very good, we feel like home. Nothing to say, I advice 100% this accommodation

Sheila is the nicest host I have ever had. She is so kind and I enjoyed talking to her in the morning. Her house is very cozy and in an authentic Irish style. The room is small, but all you need to spent time in great Galway. Every morning Sheila made me fresh orange juice. I can highly recommend staying at her place. I will come back if I will visit Galway again.

Friendly welcoming host. Very close to the Town Hall and only five minutes from cafes and restaurants. Walk along the river recommended.

Sheila is a fantastic host! The house is great. It is cozy and feels like home. It is in the city centre and yet it is very quiet. It's right by the Corrib river and Galway Cathedral (both are beautiful). It was a great stay in Galway!

It is an excellent place to stay both if you want to explore the city and/or if you have to go to the university. Besides the very good location, the place really felt like home. Sheila is incredibly nice and great to chat to. I really enjoyed my stay and can only recommend that you book the place and enjoy Sheila's wonderful hospitality!

Hi, I’m Sheila and I was born in this house, built by my great grandfather in 1887. Though I have a degree in Textile Design and teach art, my passion is
ecology/environment. I am co-founder of Green Sod Ireland, working to establish WildAcres across Ireland to create safe habitats, vital for biodiversity. I am vegetarian, an animal lover and though I’ve always had dogs I how have two rescued cats. I love the Visual Arts, reading and good food…… I’m easy-going and enjoy meeting new people, so looking forward to welcoming you to Galway. It’s a lovely city, more like a small town, full of culture and craic.
