This house is BEAUTIFUL!! The decoration is very interesting. I loved staying here, since the house is not only very comfortable but also really close to a train station (less than 5 minutes walking) from which you can go to NYC anytime in 20 minutes. It's a safe house located in a very good spot. I would recommend this house to anyone and I will for sure be coming back again! And the host was very helpful and friendly

I stayed in a double room but luckily I was the only one there. The room was nice, had an air conditioner which was very helpful at this time of year. I checked in at 3, I read multiple reviews that said they were able to check in early so that was what I was hoping would happen to me but I wasn't offered it. I took an 9 and half hour bus ride from my city and was very sweaty and would've liked to drop my stuff off and shower. I got off my bus at 7:30am and checked in at 3pm. I guess I should have chosen a place with an earlier check in time. That was poor planning on my side I guess. The house seemed a little run down. The door handle for the entrance was coming off. The one lock on the door was hard to open. The outlet in my room was coming out of its socket. My biggest concern was the fact that the shower smelled like sewage. I still took showers because it was so hot and sticky but what was the smell coming from? Was smell coming from the water that I was showering with? Did it have to do with the pipes? I don't know. I heard they even owned the house next door so I was tempted to knock on the door and ask if I could use that shower but I was too shy to ask.
