Superhost Chelsea Studio: Real NYC!

IF you want to be in nyc for any reason and live like a newyorker ! This is the place!!! It realy nice ! And you have a super appartement for cheap directly in newyork, Im gona tell you that it cost a lost to live in manhattan!

The best thing about Annie's place: LOCATION! Close to transit, close to bars, close to bagels, and Grumpy's is across the street. Seriously, get some coffee. Furniture is bare basics but the pricing reflects that. Even so, the bed is one of the comfiest even among expensive hotels. My fiance (yeah we'll get to that) and I, both agree. We slept so well. Thanks to a brilliant trip we're now engaged and a comfortable place to stay certainly played its part. Thanks Annie!

Very simple and straightforward. Annie met us at her place to pass of the keys and show us where everything was. Great location for our short trip to nyc.

Stayed for 2 weeks at Annie's Chelsea apartment over Xmas and found it to be the perfect location if you want to really live like a New Yorker! Arrived around 9pm midweek and Annie was there to greet us with a big smile and even some Xmas gifts (a really nice gesture after flying half way around the world). Everything was prepared to ensure we had a great time, from menu's, entertainment & shopping guides, maps and even food was stocked for our stay. The area is safe (Police are just across the road if you're that worried), short walk to major subway lines and bus routes, shops, restaurants (Lasange on the corner was great) and all types of entertainment. It may seem a little noisy for light sleepers when the police have a shift change, but personally no problems here (I've stayed in NYC hotels with aircons that make more noise). The apartment is small (it's a studio afterall & this is NYC) but clean, cozy and the bed is definitely comfy. Everything you need is contained within the apartment and Annie also provides free wifi which is a huge relief for those of us who have to stay connected! We didn't need to ask of anything more from Annie (as she had already prepared everything for our stay, including places to go for Xmas) but have no qualms that she'll be there ready to give a helping hand anytime you need one. Will definitely contact Annie again when I'm looking for a place in town and highly recommend (I'll also bring more Tim Tams ;o) )

Annie nous a accueilli à notre arrivée et a répondu à toutes nos questions. elle laisse à disposition tout un tas de documentation sur New York et de bonnes adresses. l'emplacement de l'appart est super, très central, le quartier est très sympa et il y a beaucoup de restaurant aux alentours. il convient parfaitement à un couple. nous avons passés un super séjour et nous conseillerons cette location à nos amis!

I am giving this listing a 1 out of 5 stars, due mainly to issues with cleanliness. On the plus side, the apartment is in a great location, the price was very reasonable, and the host was helpful when asked questions about the city. However, the apartment was very dirty. There was dirt and dust on the counter surfaces, ledges, toilet paper holder, floors etc. The bathroom had toothpaste spit and soap scum all over the shower doors, bathroom mirror, vanity, and even the wall. There was hair on the counters, and even the bedspread. And the sheets and bedspread were both stained. This is not just me having high standards either. My husband, who thinks washing the sheets at our house once a year is sufficient, asked if we had any of our own bedding in the car that we could use instead. I did contact the host before posting my review, giving her a chance to respond. She basically apologized but said that it was clean, and that the hair must have been mine. I assure you, none of this was from us because that is how it looked when we first walked in. Also, the hair was long and dark colored, my husband has short hair and I have blonde hair. And really, that response in and of itself was offensive to me. If the apartment had been clean, we would have been quite pleased with our trip. However, if cleanliness matters to you, you would probably be better off elsewhere. View host response

Annie definitely is a super host. She was lovely to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is in a fantastic location. Very comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. Great cozy apartment, we would definitely stay there again.

Met by the lovely Annie at her very well placed Chelsea apartment,it is so convenient for so many things in NYC with lovely bars and restaurants so near by. Great cafe over the road Many thanks Annie

The apt is in a great location. Actually across the street from NYPD which was comforting. If you stay here you should check out the Donut Plant on 23rd (They are known for their pb & j donut but the pumpkin and coconut cream are also very good). Our first night in NYC we were on tight schedule; arrive at 4p and broadway at 7p. Annie was very accommodating and worked with our crazy schedule. We had several email communications prior to our stay and Annie was very prompt and helpful with recommendations. Taking the train from JFK is the least expensive way to get to the apt but do your research before hand, second would be the shuttle, and last a taxi $50. Thanks Annie we had a great time!

Annie's apartment is the best! Annie met us there when we arrived and the apartment had everything we needed. It is in a great location too. We were only a couple blocks away from the subway and only a few blocks away from Central Park. There were many restaurants and bars close by so my friends and I were able to walk everywhere. This is a great place to stay in NYC!!

Ha sido una estancia genial. Annie se ha portado muy bien y nos ha ayudado en todo. El apartamrnto esta a tres paradas de la 51. Asi que es ideal porque puedes descansar por la noche y a la vez estas a 10 min del centro. Hay una parada de metro a dos calles del apartamento. En definitiva, Genial!!!!!!

La estancia no ha sido como lo que lei en los foros.Ponia apartamento para 4 y es pequeo para 4.Solo dispone d una cama d matrimonio,la otra cama era un colchon inflable que estaba roto,ya k la primera noche lo tuvimos que ir hinchando cada 3 horas.Annie nos compro uno nuevo pero individual pero seguia siendi igual de incomodo.Creo k es importante k en el anuncio destaque k una cama es un colchon inflable.Al llegar la cams d el colchon inflable estaba sin hacer y la otra estaba hecha pero con sabanas llenas d pelis y sin planchar.El apartamento llrno de polbo y de prlusa pir todas paryes.tuvimod que pasar el adpirador y wuitsr el polbo.La nevera con restos de comida del ultimo huesped.Y en el lavabo el agua caliente d la duchs tardaba muchiiiisimo en salir.No vreo que sea un sparyamento que corresponda con el precio que se pide.Una lastima que airbnb no chrwure antes los spartamentos psra poder adi vontrolsr que los anuncios no corresponden con la realidad.ah!!!!! y si tu vueli es pir la tarde Annue no t deja estar mad de las12 ni t facilita lugar psra dejar las msletas en algun sitio.Solo t dice que vayas a una estacion y psgues un condigba.Asi que recomiendo mirar otros sitios. the apartament is very nice and placed very closed to Central Park. We had a problem with the heat and Annie brought us immediately two electric heater.

Apartment is ideally situated - close to essential amenities and the subway making it easy to go wherever you want. Ann was most helpful

Annie was the perfect host! Not only did she very kindly guide us as first time Air BnB users through the process, but she also gave us top tips on what to do, shared her fantastic flat with us and even allowed us to overstay our welcome an extra couple of hours as there was no one immediately after us. Annie is a very nice and welcoming host. The appartment has a convenient location, near to Central Park and the subway, although the appartment could have been cleaner. But all in all I would recommend it for a short stay in NYC.

Good shower, perfect bed, all needed shops and metro in the neighbourhood. Perfect for a trip to nyc.

eine tolle wohnung: sauber, geräumig, mit großem Bett für 2, zentrale Lage zu allem was man braucht (Lebensmittel, Geschäfte, U-Bahn Station), äußerst nette Gastgeberin die für alle Fragen offen ist.
