We live in the upstairs of our large 100 year old house that we are renovating in an "up and coming" part of East Nashville.

Our guest room hosts a double bed, a single bed, and a futon/bunk bed. 3-4 adults or a mom/dad with a few kids could fit.

The bathroom is not private, but off the Main Room/Common Space.

We have a balcony out front with a view of Downtown Nashville.

We live about 1 mile from downtown and 1 mile from 5 points in East Nashville.
The bus to downtown stops on our street.

Our dog, Petey, stays outside but we usually move him to the back yard when guests arrive.

We have a book FULL of awesome coupons to local restaurants & activities (ie: the Zoo, the Frist Museum, Cheekwood Gardens, etc). The coupons tend to be really great savings (buy-one-get-one-free dinners or entrances) for couples. PLEASE remind us to give you a book to take with you on your outings! We try to remember, but often we forget!!

Absolutely NO SMOKING on the property. We are VERY sensitive to smoke and have an infant.

We had a wonderful stay with Josh, Stephie and Chanhassen. They were warm, welcoming and very helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and charming. The bathroom is great and comes with clean towels. We were very grateful for their hospitality and all the gestures they extend to their traveler. I would highly recommend this as an option to anyone looking for a cozy, quiet place to rest and refresh during their travels.

STRONGLY RECOMMEND! Josh was so helpful even though we showed up very late! Very comfortable room and he went out of way to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was literally minutes from downtown! Thanks for everything!

I recommended Josh & Stephie as hosts. My daughter and I stayed there during an apartment-hunting trip to Nashville. The beds were comfortable, everything was very clean and our hosts provided sound advice about Nashville. A smile from Chanhassen is a great way to start the day. We would return.

Josh and Stephi were amazing hosts! We stayed for 3 nights and the bedroom and bath were clean and comfortable. We were familiar with Nashville, but they were so kind to give us more information and directions as needed! They made us feel welcome, and gave us space and privacy. The neighborhood was in transition, but we had no problems even in the later hours coming and going as we pleased. This was our first airbnb experience and we truly enjoyed our stay with them. If you are needing to stay in Nashville, look no further! They were so kind, quiet, and very helpful!! We highly recommend Josh and Stephi!!

Josh and Stephie were very welcoming and warm! They did everything to make our stay comfortable such as offering us breakfast and giving my boyfriend and I privacy. The house is charming, because it is an old house they are renovating. The room was large and clean. The area they are in seems to be "in transition" so make sure not to leave your wallet on the dashboard! :-) My boyfriend and I had breakfast on the deck, enjoying the sun and the view of Downtown Nashville. Overall, an excellent experience! PS: their little girl is quiet and soooooooooo adorable. It is hard not to pay attention to her! She is a little sunshine.

Josh and Stephie were very hospitable. I had a great stay and they did everything to make me comfortable. The room is huge and you could easily fit a family in it. I had clean sheets, towels and Josh was very kind to help me find my way about town. The location is close to downtown and a bus runs down the road. Their place is not posh, but spartan and comfortable. I recommend you stay here, especially if you're in a group or bringing the family.

Josh was really accommodating and attentive, which was amazing since Stephie just had a baby the week before. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. The house is super close to downtown. We really enjoyed staying there.

Josh and Stephie provided a clean, comfortable and exceptionally hospitable place for my girlfriend and I to spend the night. Their house is amazing, the sleeping quarters ample and the location is five minutes away from downtown Nashville. Fresh towels were provided for showering, the sheets were all clean and Josh even put together a list of suggestions on how we could spend our day. It was really nice of him and we appreciated it greatly. They were also really flexible with our arrival time, since we ended up being delayed a couple of hours. The only possible gripe I can think of is that the neighborhood is "in transition" as we say in DC. It's kinda rough, and you should probably keep any valuables in your car out of sight, but it's really no worse than what I live in daily in DC, so it didn't bother me. I really enjoyed our stay, even though it was only one night. If you're traveling through Nashville, you should seriously consider staying with these fine people.
