We live in the upstairs flat of a large 100 year old house in an up and coming part of East Nashville.

Our guest room hosts a double bed, a single bed, and a futon/bunk bed. 3-4 adults or a mom/dad with a few kids could fit fine.

The bathroom for the guest room is not private, but off the main living space.

We have a balcony off the main/common space room with a view of Downtown Nashville.
We live about 1 mile from downtown and the bus stops right out front.

Our dog, Petey, stays outside and typically move him to the back yard when guests come.

Josh and Stephie were very hospitable. I had a great stay and they did everything to make me comfortable. The room is huge and you could easily fit a family in it. I had clean sheets, towels and Josh was very kind to help me find my way about town. The location is close to downtown and a bus runs down the road. Their place is not posh, but spartan and comfortable. I recommend you stay here, especially if you're in a group or bringing the family.

Josh was really accommodating and attentive, which was amazing since Stephie just had a baby the week before. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. The house is super close to downtown. We really enjoyed staying there.

Josh and Stephie provided a clean, comfortable and exceptionally hospitable place for my girlfriend and I to spend the night. Their house is amazing, the sleeping quarters ample and the location is five minutes away from downtown Nashville. Fresh towels were provided for showering, the sheets were all clean and Josh even put together a list of suggestions on how we could spend our day. It was really nice of him and we appreciated it greatly. They were also really flexible with our arrival time, since we ended up being delayed a couple of hours. The only possible gripe I can think of is that the neighborhood is "in transition" as we say in DC. It's kinda rough, and you should probably keep any valuables in your car out of sight, but it's really no worse than what I live in daily in DC, so it didn't bother me. I really enjoyed our stay, even though it was only one night. If you're traveling through Nashville, you should seriously consider staying with these fine people.
