This classic Alexander is newly renovated and updated for a modern lifestyle with reverence for Bill Krisel's original design. We call our style "earthy modern" with influence from Charles and Ray Eames California residence, and a Scandinavian-inspired palate of pale neutrals and wood textures. The kitchen features Heath tile, Terrazzo counter tops, a Breville espresso machine, and mountain views. An infrared gas grill is ready for your poolside BBQ. Enjoy meals from the vintage Cherner dining chairs with walls of glass overlooking the sparkling pool. The open floorplan lounge room provides relaxed viewing of the 46" LCD TV with HD satellite package. There's comfy beds in all three bedrooms with memory foam mattresses, cotton and Marimekko bedding. The master has a king and it's own bath, the middle bedroom a queen, and the third has two twins both with a shared main bath. The main bathroom is spa style with Heath tile, Terrazzo floors and custom built cabinetry made to emulate the original design. Refinished concrete floors throughout. If you choose to heat the pool, it will be warmed for your arrival. Free WiFi is provided as well as an iPod dock for your own personal playlist. Come enjoy the historic Racquet Club Estates neighborhood and Palm Springs Modernism Week or all year round.

Joann's house is great! Just rent it and you'll have a wonderful time. It's in a great location, the house is very charming and well decorated, and Joann was very quick to respond with anything we needed. Highly recommended! And we will be back again :)

Joann's house was everything we wanted and more in our Palm Springs getaway home. The house was beautifully designed and had the aesthetic we were looking for, a quintessential Palm Springs experience. We loved how equipped the house way. It had all that we needed to cook all of our meals, keep us entertained in the pool with all the fun pool toys, the iHome was perfect to set the tone for the days of lounging … and one of our favorite ‘extras’ was the array of vintage swimwear found in the master closet! Joann was helpful and kind, even heating the pool for our last full day at a last minute request. We would definitely stay there again on our next desert vacation. Thanks Joann!

Everything was so easy and seamless. Joann's house is BEAUTIFUL, very clean, and centrally located in a great part of Palm Springs ... though we spent more time relaxing around that nice pool than I should probably admit. Would love to stay here again!

My son and daughter-in-law are visiting from the east coast and wanted to take a quick trip over to Palm Springs. They love mid-century homes and this house certainly fits the bill. The modern amenities and the pool make for an enjoyable experience. Although this was just a "mini-vacation", I look forward to staying there again when I can really relax and enjoy!

Our friends and ourselves loved this fantastic little oasis in Palm Springs. It's stylish and comfortable. A bonus for us is that the property is located around the corner from a fantastic park with a great playground which our toddler daughter loved.
