Although this listing is not centrally located, it provides great value for your money. For only US$10, I got a private room (to myself) for all 4 nights. There's also a lounge for guests to chill and hang out, and not to mention, a balcony for the great view of Cusco as well! Daniel and his family were very friendly and hospitable, and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable.

Manuel is an AMAZING host. He did everything possible to make us as comfortable as possible. He greeted us at the airport, and then gave a tour of the house after sipping some coca tea. The neighborhood is safe and there a couple of markets across the street that have the cheapest bottles of water in all of Peru. The house is super cute, and is up on the mountain so you can overlook the whole city, which is really beautiful, especially at night. It's easy to walk to and from the main square, or it's only a few Soles to catch a taxi if the altitude sickness makes the stairs seem daunting. We definitely recommend Daniel's (Manuel's father) tour of the Sacred Valley. He's a certified guide that can give you a customized tour at an affordable price.

From the moment Manuel picked us from the airport to the moment we left, it was an absolutely delightful experience. Manuel is the BEST HOST EVER. He took care of our needs like a family member. He and his lovely wife provided us with delicious and authentic Peruvian meals. He gave us a very insightful tour of the city and arranged for the private tour to Scared Valley wit his dad. He helped us schedule our pre-trip check-in with our hiking travel agency. He was more than happy to recommend places to eat, shop or visit. His place is very clean and has the best view of the whole city. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with a short distance from the main square. We totally loved our stay at Manuel's home!

10 out of 10 for the host family, the house with a view of the entire city, the location, the excellent breakfast and dinner, 24hr-hospitality and the trekking tour to Machu Picchu (the host's father is actually one of the pioneers of mountain guides!). I consider them as my family in Cusco, and this place as my home in Cusco. Here you can experience an authentic local living as well as a relaxing vacation being looked after by the most caring, generous people.

Wow! A stay in Manuels home is not just accommodation, it is a complete Peruvian experience. The home is charming and clean with the best view in town. Couple that with a host who is caring and attentive and you have one of the best Airbnb experiences you could hope for. He catered to our every need and even gave us a walking tour around town on our first day. By the time you leave Cusco you will not only have new memories but will have made a new friend in Manuel.

It truly is a home away from home experience! Manuel was excellent at making me feel welcomed. He picked me up from the airport which was a relief considering it was my first time traveling alone. He and his dad received me with some mate de coca. Manuel had a map ready for me and was good at showing me how to pinpoint landmarks so I could find my way around. He also gave me a paper with his and his dad's phone numbers and how to get home. He was also great at recommending locations where I could find vegan food, which was a concern for me. If I needed to get anywhere he knew the how to or found out for me. He came to my rescue when I was having a hard time finding an ATM that would take my debit card and then went with me for my trek briefing. He helped me get around to wherever I needed and even woke up at 4am to call a taxi for me. The place is very clean and the view of the city is spectacular day and night. The neighborhood is nice and quiet though away from the city. However, it is an easy walk to the main streets and Plaza de Armas. I got lost getting home once but he was there to talk to the taxi driver and help me get home. I was truly blessed to find Manuel and his family shortly before my arrival! I cannot thank them enough!

Home away from home! Manuel really knows how to treat his guests as family. The house is so great with a beautiful view (day & night). Me + my brother and my mother felt welcome from the moment Manuel picked us up from the airport. For foreign people who don't speak Spanish, it's really a big plus that Manuel speaks fluent English. We loved every bit of our stay, many thanks Manuel!

Hello guys! My name is Manuel and i invite you to stay with my family in Cusco, i currently moved for a year to Sweden to learn the language and be a tour guide in Sweedish when i return home, mean while my mother and father and the rest of the family take care of the house, 'As they do not know how to manage the page' i am the one who manages all the reservations and answer all the questions, in fact if you are from Sweeden we can meet. We live in our own big house 'not an apartment' and we host friendly people from all over the world who wants to learn and experience my culture! we are one of the few real Homestays on Airbnb in Cusco and we try not being a hotel or hostal so we can give you a truly original experience. We will help you in anything you need for your trip.
My father is a certified tour guide with more than 20 years guiding experience, everybody knows my father! he is the best guide of Peru! check our reviews so if you did not book for a tour then we can help you contact good and safe travel agencies or organize private tours like the city tour, sacred valley, Machupicchu tour and even the Inka Trail which is my fathers passion, if you are open to suggestions as locals we know the best places to go just ask for any other reccomendations, my mother a great cook and my brother has a car to drive you anywhere you want.He does the pickups with my father so you will always have a member of the family who is going to pick you up so the taxi drivers will not take advantage of you and having the safety of a friendly family who is going to take care of you from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave.
We speak Spanish , English , some French and our native language Quechua.
Check our reviews i'm sure you will stay with us. To know more about me and my family please feel free to ask, we can communicate through webcams too.
